This weapon does NOT have Durability!
So it seems you can use throw for an unlimited time, without worring to repair your throw weapon.

So, whenever you die, you won' t have to pay repaircosts for your throw weapon.
(Even though it's easy to get gold these days, just a heads up ...)

Definitely a must buy range tanking item!

Almost certainly designed as a throwing weapon in order to make it useless to hunters. Of course with the tanking stats it would never be ideal, but sheer DPS would make it a significant upgrade for fresh 80s. That would go against Blizzard's apparent policy of not allowing useful weapons to be bought through badges.
