As this 2h got 2 sockets you can socket AGI gems in it (or agi-hit or hit if you ain't hitcapped).

Although Dreambinder seems a lot better at first glance compared to Twisted Visage and Tortured Earth, a careful look should reveal that actually those two are better alternatives compared to dreambinder for a hunter. Haste rating and armor penetration are stats that hunters can only benefit to a minimal degree. (Explosive shot, arcane shot, chimera shot and pet are not affected by armor pen and haste rating)

OK so I know this drops off 10 man hard (I got it) and the site obviously lists it correctly here as dropping of vezax but when you go to vezax it's not listed on his drop table. WTF? Is it simply because no one with the wowhead client installed has seen it drop? If that's the case why is it listed at all?

Just remember, hunters... don't be hatin on your bear tank for rolling on this beauty. I would much rather have this weapon than the Twisted Visage.

That probably has to do more with the sockets on this thing and how my personal stat allocation has worked out, but yeah... this is a bear thing, too. Not exactly a cat thing, at least compared to what guilds that have this in reach have available (lotrafen, twisted, maybe dreambinder). Just remember, that big hairy bear is a negotiable mammal. Fork this over and she should pass you lotrafen. And if a bear wants to tank with the polearm, kick him in the nads.

Every time a hunter gets an Origin of Nightmares, god kills a kitty (druid). Every time I find a huntard that justifies it with "I get AP from stam! it's a hunter weapon, lol, get over it butthurt druid", I die a little inside.

Umm... no. This is definitely not a Bear staff. It's not even in the top 5 for bear staves. It's actually 10th on the list. Origin of Nightmares is still #1 bear staff in game as of 3.1.2

This gains (if gemmed that way) stamina, agility, hit, crit, and a tonne of AP (the crit/ap help with SD + give a tonne of tps) at the cost of 700 armor over Origin - don't trust wowhead's weight scales over all else, its Beta for a reason :)

The only ones better are from heroic hard mode freya/algalon (and thats only just), 2 pvp ones, and hard mode Yogg-Saron 25 - until you can do them, this is best.
