Armor Pen is STILL a junk stat for a class that ignores armor with so many of it's attacks. Yes all the str is nice but almost anything would be better than armor pen for a ret pally.

Surprisingly enough, as per 3.1.2 this item level 219-item resides as the best-in-slot item for Blood Death Knights.
