More like "Gasp! Tanking gloves for a plate-wearer!"

Theres parry rating on a lot of stuff from BC raids. Does that mean they were designed for death knights? No because they werent around. These are great for any plate-wearing tanks (feral druid obviously is a non-plate tank). I use them on my warrior along with the Tundra pauldrons.

From DK tank point of view these might be a slight upgrade to Gauntlets of Disturbed Giant. You lose 21 hit in exchange 22 parry, you lose 9 DEF for 12 STR (= 3 parry, 24 AP) and you gain marginal amount of STA. You choose.

I already have Crystalbark's Toenail of the Beast for my DK... so I'm trying to do the math on which set of gloves is the better choice. These seem to be fairly on-par with Crystalbark's Toenail gloves.

as a Pally I would choose those because:

More STR > More AP > More DMG > More thread, with is valuable especially in AoE rushes through instances these days.
More STA > More Health > less strain for healer, yeah the diffrence is barely noticable but still a diffrence is a diffrence.
Loss of Hit Rating for Parry is a fair trade IMO. I doubt that a miss or two will make a diffrence, this isnt serious raiding.
Parry is usefull since I will gain it more then I get it from Def Rating with increases Dodge, parry, block, but why should I bother with it if I have 60% block from a spell and a talent already?
