Unfortunately, this item has the less-than-ok stat of mp5 instead of haste on here, making this helm inferior to some items like Faceguard of the Sucumbed with haste and more crit and int once you gem with a Dazzling Forest Emerald.

However, since the t7 helm gives crit where the t7 chest (Valorous Redemption Tunic) gives haste and no crit, this helmet is the only crit-gearing way to get the 4pc bonus. So just stick a Runed Scarlet Ruby in here with the Insightful Earthsiege Diamond meta and enjoy the 124 int (~1850 mana), 173 SP and about 2.4% crit (from 75 crit rating with Arcanum of Burning Mysteries and 124 int) from this helm alone. These figures only apply when correctly talented and fully raid buffed with kings.

Oh these also give 23 mp5, which does help - so don't think it's completely useless - unlike spirit.
