Let us all just face the facts. This is a good weapon for a number of classes and specs. Everybody and their mother is going to want one, and TG warriors are going to want two.

Though, on a personal note, with all the +agi weapons in the game so far, if a hunter rolls on this, I'll Overpower their face.

Just so you know, the picture shown here is a little misleading.

I just got it and put Massacre on it, the whole thing glows red now. So don't be mislead by the clown-ish looks it has on the picture above. :P

The description says that the yellow glow isn't overwritten by other enchantment effects. I don't know about normal enchantments, but the effect is overwritten by Runeforging enchants.

with strength versus attack power and no haste, this item is the best itemized weapon for a death knight in wow, statwise. though a dk might see a slight dps gain from using betrayer of humanity, this is the best all-around weapon, useful in pvp and in pve dps or tanking roles.

keep that in mind, warriors and paladins, when you roll on this against a death knight. you're rolling on the pinnacle of death knight weapons

Everyone praising it is good and all, but seriously this weapon is way too fast to be called good for me. The stats are perfectly well made but it's 3.4 a speed weapon. If they had delayed its swings by say 0.2 seconds I'd fall in love with this weapon.

If a fury warrior was lucky enough to secure two of these, that's 124 hit rating on just your weapon slots alone.

This free sup a lot for enchants, gems, and itemization.

No. You still want around 350 hit after the "buff" for steady rage generation.

Removing the 5% yellow miss on titan grip only effects people who arent hit capped now(everyone should be anyway...) and it makes it more viable for pvp.

tbh, as a ret i would take betrayer if it dropped, but for ppl who are still missing some hit for the cap, this is a nice weap :)

but tbh i dont understand why put attack power and agi on a 2h axe (betrayer), not like paladins, warriors and dks need those, unless...HUNTER WEAPON!

Contrary to popular belief, haste is not a bad stat for DKs. That was an old school of thought before a few facts were known or considered:

Haste also scales your ghoul and gargoyle.
Haste reduces the global cooldown on your spell casts, though not on your melee strikes. This means shorter GCDs after casting Icy Touch, Death Coil, Pestilence, Blood Boil, Howling Blast, Unholy Blight, etc.
Haste scales positively with talents like Necrosis and Blood-Caked Blade.
Haste increases the number of procs per minute of Killing Machine.

This is all in addition to the obvious fact that it increases your attack speed. Not a bad stat for DKs at all.

By using the unholy scale from ElitistJerks.com in the Unholy DPS Discussion, I compared Death's Bite and Betrayer of humanity.

The results were as following:
Betrayer of humanity - 105.6
Death's Bite - 107.06

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've seen here, Death's Bite is better for an unholy DK.

I will not say that this is the best weapon in the game for DKs (betrayer is obviously better), but it's definately the best itemized weapon stat wise, by far.

so this dropped for my guilds 10 man naxx run, we use need / greed in game rolls to save time (i have it on my death knight so i passed) our other death knight is waiting for Armageddon (https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=40343) as he is a looks freak. we happened to have a pug hunter from our servers top guild. in the run as well so after our fury warrior rolled need and we thought everyone had passed the hunter rolls need and wins -.- then replys in vent saying "strength is the same as attack power for hunters isn't it?" -.- sigh i hate stupid people

How does this thing rank for DK tanks? To me, 101 Strength and 114 Stam sound pretty nice (Forceful Deflection FTW); just slap Stoneskin Gargoyle on it and it's ready.
Not to mention that the Hit is a bonus for your spells, and the Crit boost will help with your threat generation.

Actually, Betrayer of Humanity is better simply because it's got that sweet, sweet 220 Deeps... and just generally providing better (although, less optimized for DK) stats.

I Agree , Betrayer of Humanity is simply better then Death`s Bite , but neither of them can be compared with Ulduar weapons . Here are some examples :

I have been farming this stupid thing for weeks! i cannot get this thing to drop and even though i out DPS most people i do heroics with that have full valorous, i'm not geared enough for 25 man Naxx pugs. I cant get my hands on this and i cant do 25 man. I desperately want to upgrade from Titansteel destroyer, o yeah im a ret pally.

Any suggestions?

I got this on my 80 straight up DPS spec DK. This weapon has beat all of the others I've seen drop in any 10-man content. This axe has brought my DPS up and it also looks very nice not to be confused with the picture icon you see =D

Very cool weapon - am kicking butt with 2 :0) one has moongoose and 110+ap - , My gm was happy it dropped .. the guild was getting sick of faming the axe from HOL which i had at the time when death's bite dropped :)
