Since nothrend have it orgin from the scandinavia this is one of the design of a viking ship indeed.The shields and the rising front is typical for the viking ships and thier was diffrend kind of ships.... since the norwiegan and danish ruled the sea the swedish vikings ruled the rivers in the east euorope and west asia that about the chain sword from Dow is just cause it is red if it would have been blue it wouldn´t apeard as the chain sword from bloodravens at the first look but indeed it is a viking ship with a toutch of the savagery ancestors of the north

It's got good stats, but I am not fond of how fast it is. But the hefty amount of hit makes up for it. Still makes me sad that the closest comparable weapon for what I am looking for has crit instead of hit but a 3.8 speed.

I guess this will be my tanking sword and the other will be my dps sword.

It's a solid DPS weapon, but its high stamina along with the fact that hit rating is necessary for tanking gives this sword a DK-tanking bent.

Don't forget to notice that the spikes with circles around them on the blade are very representative of the shields (with spikes) that Vikings happened to place on their ship as a sort of extra defense.

This is an awesome weapon for any TG fury warriors. It will help you get to that 361 hit rating cap :) you could even toss on a Titanium Weapon chain too! A simple must have for Fury warriors out there, it lacks crit but then around this level hit is more important until you can sacrifice hit for more viable stats like crit and AP. Though, with them removing the hit % penalty on TG doors shall be opened and this will be less useful =D

I think this a great pr-raid sword for Ret Pallys. This weapon with its +70 strength means it hits hard, +102 stam means we stay in the fight longer, +68 hit rating goes a long way (almost 30% of needed hit) to the magical 245 hit, and finally no useless haste on it. I am surprised no other Retadins have commented on this sword. I have and love it not just a DK tank weapon.

This got a new icon in patch 3.1. I logged out with my DPS sword on, and when I was looking for it, I couldn't find it in my bags or bank. I kinda liked the old icon, even if it was a little boring. The new icon looks nothing like the sword. Ah well. It's still a solid sword, if you're not a mace or axe person.

This is a great weapon for DK tanking and dps and is good enough as a starter for heroic's. Looks great with the swordshatter runic enchant!

If you're a Warrior, Paladin or a Death Knight looking for a weapon to match your Tyrant's set, look no further than this weapon here!

The colouring is almost exactly the same as the Tyrant's set, besides being a smidge darker, but nonetheless matches perfectly! The overall look of it goes well with the angular, imposing contours of the Tyrant's set.

I have this and the Tyrant set on my Blood DK and I must say, she looks like an absolute badass.
