Manually calculating the item level for these bracers shows that the budget for this item can afford another socket (which is present on its cousin, Crystalhide Handwraps). So, until a second slot is added, these bracers are the equivalent of a 112 blue (or a 90 epic).

This is a somewhat odd item...

If you compare it e.g. toShattrath Wraps, stamina is missing and only 2 (2+2 respectively) more spellpower and about 0.5% melee crit. Latter does not make much sense honestly.

To make this more usefull, it sould be +12 critical spell strike rating and more spellpower through the socket bonus or add another stat...

I really hope those will be revised soon.

I found those while doing the new quests.
And posted this on the wow forums ->

Yesterday i found the Crystalweave Bracers
But then i noticed the Improves critical strike rating by 12.

So its not Spellcritical strike rating.
And that makes this item almost useless as my Bracers of Havoc ar way better right now. (no mage item ?)

I talked to a GM about this and he told me it was indeed not a Spellcritical strike rating and it might have been implanted wrong.
He told me to make a post so the technical support could have a look at it.

Anyone any ideas on the price of this item ?

I hope they adjust the stats / bonuses also a bit... compared to https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=28174/撒塔斯裹帶 the difference is not very high...

BTW: Very neat item with a Glowing Nightseye (when it is revised).

found this on AH for 300g, I went for it staight away, since I was only 69 when I bought them I already got something to look forward to on 70 :D

So, check AH freqently, maybe a cheap epic can be found!

pvp bracers FTW, I jus put the heroic SV gem in mine, and +15 spell chant, making them 31 stamina, 20 intellect, 48+spell and 17 resilliance

On the Spinebreaker server, I put Crystalweave Bracers on AH for 550g (800g buyout). It didn't sell. I put the auction back up at 200g (400g buyout). Still didn't sell.

Update: I just sold these bracers for 240g buyout. Maybe at one time you could sell them for 800g but I don't think that's possible anymore.

if it was me picking a gem cant remember what couler it is but u should go 4 i think its +5 spell hit rating and + 6 spell dmg if im right spell hit is crucial 4 killing bosses im a fire mage and the hit rating helps alot :)

Bought them for 100g + Primal Nether on a Spellstrike Hood craft ...

Really usefull for a Frost Mage since Spell Critical Rate is wayyy better than Spell Damage ... and if you need Spell Hit you can just put a gem on it !

Enchanted with +12 Intellect
and Potent Noble Topaz (+spell damage and +spell crit)

Gained +5 spell damage and +0.8% on the upgrade from Harbinger https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=28477/先驅者手環.

These are better than the pvp season one bracers by 11 spell damage with a runed living ruby in them. stamina is worthless in pve and raids unless you dont know how to play. stamina would only be better for warlocks and they dont cost 15k honor.

get the pvp ones if you want stam, these are an upgrade for me as a raiding mage and yet im going to sell them with a runed for hopefully 400 gold.

11 spell damage > resilience and stam.

Stamina is indeed useless, like in mag's lair when he does 8K damage to the whole raid, or when gruul does shatter and HP would grant margin for error, or netherspite's netherbreath is definately not easier to deal with if you can make it past 8k unbuffed HP.

You get the idea. If you're a glass cannon, you're going to get dropped on your head, and you'll break and then your DPS will be 0.
