For a hunter I would say https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=29994/薩拉斯迷霧披風 would be better. It has Less AP, but more Agi witch can make up for the lost AP with ~.72 crit with only a loss of ~.28DPS (from lost AP). In the end, thats not much of a DPS loss but a pretty nice crit gain.

EDIT: Guess I missed the crit rating on this the first time around. I would still go witht he cape linked above becase of the rise of EW spec's popularity, Agi>all.

Look at the melee dps cloaks. NONE have hit rating on them except this and the cloak off Aran, making this a very good cloak for rogues, as they need to have their hit rating higher than any other class. This is easier said than done considering the itemization of the tier gear in the game, forcing rogues to ignore socket bonuses and stack hit gems. In fact, most of the melee cloaks are pretty gimp except for the higher end ones off Kael, and this one. The cloaks from Prince and Magtheridon are okay, but a lot of the stats are wasted on stam, which we get enough of from any other piece of gear.

This is hands down one of the best Hunter back pieces in the game. The added hit rating and attack power are fantastic. Aswell as the crit. As to the rest of you, HELL YEAH it is also great for dps warriors and rogues. DKP fight on this one when it drops.

Good for all physical DPS. And yes its most likely going to be a DKP fight for it. Not much rolling on loot at this level. Oh and whoever said that warriors need +hit more than rogues is an idiot. Hit rating is very important for every class excluding healers. I am a warrior myself so dont think im bias.

While i agree with the comments that all melee classes and hunters need hit. Those who dual wield need more hit than those who are ranged/2h users.

I'm no where near ever seeing this cape (Clearing kara/few bosses in ZA) but as many have said, this really isn't going to be an issue of rolling against another class as who can put out the most dkp for the item.

At this point in the game where you are capable of getting this cloak you are probably already maximised out on hit for most melee classes/hunters.

What becomes more important at this point is maximising stats to free up other slots for better stats (bad english I know).

What I mean is being able to heavily stack a stat on one item, or double up effective stats (i.e. this has hit, crit and AP) allows other item slots to be used for more specific stats.

Either way the winners of this item will be determined by dkp and there is doubtful many people on the raid will need it to reach their hit cap to need it more than anyone else!
