Hunters, don't be afraid of this gem if you need blue/yellow sockets to meet your meta gem requirements. Since only 2 of these fills both requires for the Relentless Meta, It allows you to put a lot more other gems into places.

Doing a little math just on the mp5, if you had two. In a 10 minute fight (let's say Void Reaver, before he enrages), you have 600 seconds, or 120 "ticks" of mp5. That equals 480 mana just from 2 of these gems. For a BM hunter who also has Effeciency, that's 4, almost 5, free Steady Shot casts. If, between crits and normal hits, you average 900 with Steady, this gem gave you 3,600 damage.

Just looking at it from the other side of the fence. I don't like gemming blues as I'm stam heavy, mp5 is a great alternative. Int never huts.
