I found these to be a good way to skill your level up as a Jewel Crafter.

Even though it does take 8 heavy stones, when compared to other materials needed for Jewel Crafter leveling within the skill color range. Heavy Stones tend to go very cheap at the Auction House, whereas silver bars cost a whole lot more.

(Ring of Silver Might - 2 silver bars each ring or 2g per ring or 2g per skill point).
(Heavy Stone Statue - 8 Heavy Stones each statue or ~48s per statue or ~48s per skill point).

I was actually buying stacks of 20 Heavy stone on Mannoroth server Alliance AH for about 1.7g : about 8.5s each stone (68s each skill point).

I would only recommend using it for leveling purposes while the skill is Orange or Yellow. I would NOT recommend making these for skill points at green or below.

Keep in mind that these statues draw aggro, so if you're fighting multiple enemies, one might turn around and destroy it.

The only cool down i have seen it share is the warlocks Heathstone...

ALSO i havent looked at other statue posts, but this DOES proc spiritual attunement, for measly 2 mana a heal, but still its something to consider Paladins

If you leave combat (For example by using feign death) the statue will attack your enemy...and get killed in 1 hit ^^

25 x 16 = 400hp over 16 secs

Still the same effect as before, still a 2 min CD.

Tested at low health and got 25 health/sec for 13 seconds. In solo combat statue will aggro after two "ticks" and will stop healing and start fighting if you do not regain aggro. Not as easily destroyed as the lesser statues.

It's roughly 14-15 ticks of +25 or about 350-375 health over 15 seconds.

On my rogue I've used this a few times when I have a DOT on me so cannot bandage through it and my potions are on cooldown. Being a miner I also have a steady supply of stone.

I was in bg on my 19 twink and i couldnt kill a warrior with this. I saw him later and he dropped its again if you attack the statue it it has like no hp it will die, and so did he. So it might work once but 2nd time against a good twink your going to waste stone. Sooner or later all the good twinks will catch on and these wont be great imo.

I counted 15 tics at +25 a tick on my 19 twink. Total 375 healing, I'd say about 1 tic a second. So pretty good when fighting. The general reaction is "what is that?" if they notice (helps to stand on it)Most people don't think to attack it, maybe a second or third time... if they're smart. But, I'm a hunter twink so in ranged it's pretty nice.

These also work great as a sort of Target Dummy. Drop one if you're in a fight with too many mobs and it takes the aggro off just long enough for a pot or flight or bandage....a good way to use the statues that are too low to really heal you for much. :)
