This item is part of an entire set design made for offensive casters entering Outland. The stat balance from these pieces is favorable to Mages, Priests, and also Balance Druids. The "set" as a whole is a bit spirit-heavy but still useful for Warlocks as well. This is not a proper set with bonuses, but rather a collection of similar pieces of gear built with a single cohesive look. For whatever reason, there is no head piece associated with this gear.

For a fire specced mage this one is ok. But the one you get from the quest here
https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=25718 is much better for fire mages. (Spell Crit)

they look just like Magister's mantles but blue and white, a light blue, really nice grp insisted that i roll for my priest >_> "replaced" mantles of lost hope -_-

Got these yesterday (day 1 of BC!) and man they are sweet. Blew my previous shoulders out of the water. It's really true--BC blues easily outstrip some of the pre-BC purples.

Too bad they look gay. :P

Got it today after i won the the endboss priest robe from the furnace: Raiments of Divine Authorityhttps://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=56479 Those two make a pretty awesome looking set! (see screenshot)

Yeah, believe it or not. That's better then the tier 1 druid shoulders. If I happen to go on a run where the priest/mage doesn't need 'em. I think I'm going for it. I know it's cloth, but we druids like healing things too... but only if no one else wants :)
