While it's true this can be useful for hunters, often in polite company it's typical for melee to pass ranged weapons to hunters, and for hunters to pass melee weapons to melee. Getting an extra 10-15 weapon dps on your weapon/bow is usually a far bigger upgrade than getting another 10 agility or 10 crit rating just from the stats. There's nothing wrong with a hunter needing on it, as long as the group agrees of course. Just remember that if you expect to need on it over melee, you can't complain either when they need bows or guns you can use.

Nope sorry, its just way too slow to justify over Footman's from HH. Even THAT is slow but it's alright til something faster comes along. Rogues should never OH this sword.

The speed seems about nice at sub 2.00 and the dps is the same.

Best part is, anyone can buy the axe from quartermaster once honored with thrallmar.

Would this be better for a level 60 AV Destroyer Rogue? If so Dual Wielded or should I just go daggers? and which daggers if so..? I will be in almost full warlords with 2 pieces for T1 and maybe a piece of T2... so whats good?

For transmog purposes, this sword fits perfectly with T2 pally recolor.

Dual wield as SMF warrior, or slap on a Titansteel Shield Wall as tank and you gain 1337 points of pure awesome.

Got this baby on my very first run with my 60 rogue.I was Mutilate specced back then , but immediatly switched to Combat Sword after the instance.

If you happen to be lucky enough to catch it on your first runs , you'll keep it for a loooong time , at least 4-5 levels because there isn't any other good swords out there before 65-66.Just daggers on Slave Pens and Underbog , and quest rewards don't come any close to it.

For the story had to roll it with a Arms Warrior -_-' . Don't feel bad for him , we cleared the whole thing and he got the pew pew Polearm at the end , so everybody was happy :)

...would have killed myself had he had outbid me though ^^

This thing rocks. I did Ramparts 2 times today, the first time, this dropped and I got it. Because we had 2 dual wield enhancement shammies (no aggro reduction whatsoever) in our group, I decided not to tank because it was near impossible with their chain dmg spells. So, we had 4 DPSers (the shammies, dw fury war (me) and a ret pally) and 1 holy pally. Lots of fun, I assure you. However, I forgot to take Omok's Hoof for the quest, so had to go back.

The holy pally stayed and got a 69 warlock & 59 rogue to go along. The 59 rogue then got a 70 rogue friend to join. Again, I didn't tank (well, only on bosses) and guess what... with synced DamageMeters I came out first over the whole instance, before the 70 rogue & 69 warlock :). Haha, man, I love this weapon =).

It's pretty much the twin to Brutality Blade stats-wise. I just got it today and moved my Brutality Blade offhand. Looks can't compare with Teebu's Blazing Longsword (lightsaber ftw!) but this is free and easy, so I'll take it over Teebu's any day.

stats compared to BB:
4 AP more
2 crit rating less
120 hitpoints more
19 more top end damage

The only real difference is the stam.

I got this on my 2nd run through Ramps, and as a 69 Combat Sword rogue, still have it to this day. I'll be replacing it very soon, but I haven't found a sword yet that has such a nice amount of damage.

I just got this the other day on my war, replaced my Krol (:-(So sad to vendor that 200g) also replaced my serathil with this https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=54621/壓扁的紅氈帽. Pretty nice, same Dps Lower damage, but 2.1 AS, no crit but hit rating as well, more stam too 16 instead of 12. Better tanking sword.

I got this sword last night - ran it twice in a row & luckly droped both times because a rogue beat me on the roll the first run (my fault for inviting him ;) but did get it the next run - far better then the green I was using) DW with Fury spec. Got the Hellreaver on the 2nd run too plus Garrote-String Necklace the 1st run (guild run). Took my warrior from push over to semi-stud in just 1 night. All in all a good night in Ramparts.

Last night I was on a run with a combo of friends and pick ups when this sword drops. My 61 Pally is tanking and there were no other takers for Shadowrend so I got it. On the next boss https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/item=55876/邱大師的披肩 drops, but I already have it so the priest "settled" for it, and on the last boss Hellreaver dropped and again I'm the only one interested.

Great group and even though it seems like I never win any rolls if someone else wants something too (I'm great to group with that way)I got loaded up on tanking weapons! Thanks to all in the party, and thank heavens Warriors are so tough to get to join a group! (BTW, only one death in the group on the run, me while tankng the last boss).

Now I just need ideas for the right enchants for each of these for a Holy Pally who seems to be called on to tank a lot. Thoughts?

Out of 7 boss kills i seen it 3 or 4 times.. No hellreaver so I said ef it, rolled for the sword and got it. Woot for respecing. Hellreaver.. ef you for never dropping in 6 runs. Sods law indeed, anything I want never drops

I've done this instance 20 times over 3 different chars I have never fukn seen it drop once.

31 runs over 5 days lvl 60 - 65, dropped once on 17th run and i got outrolled, and then dropped again on 31st run payed another rogue 50 gold to not roll, absolutely @#$%^&ed to have to run 31 times when others get it first try but thems the breaks, my advice, just powerlevel to 70 and run those instances, i ran this many times on principle alone hahaha.

I got this sword yeterday for my rogue, and the Shifting Sash of Midnight and added the 2 red sockets with +12 AP and the Mok'Nathal Wildercloak all in the one run, plus i got the sweet boots from handing in the hoof, head and hand. All in all a very good run ^^

ive seen this drop twice in five runs, first time a pally friend of mine need rolled so i let him take it and second time i wanted to need roll on it for a duel weild, but luckily a hunter complained that he was dumb and forgot to need roll as well so said i should greed. needles to say the !@#$%^& won it on a greed roll, havent seen him use it yet which makes me mad since he stands back and watches his pet do the work.... i ended up taking the hellreaver.

I was surprised that this dropped for my party this morning. It's usually a plate armor that drops pretty much everytime. Everyone in the party passed with the exception of another rogue in the party that needed the sword. I was really happy that I won the item, sorry Aka :). This is definitely a really good upgrade from my previous sword (Krol blade) which lacked a little DPS for my level. This will improve my fighting ability both in PVE and PVP considering I'm A lvl61 rogue(Combat Spec). I'm now looking for something good to pair it with.

***Update***Finally earned enough rep from doing quests at Hellfire and was able to get the perfect match for this Shadowrend that I just got the day before,Footman's Longsword. This has been an excellent week.
