Best rogue neck in the game. Yes, better than Barbed Choker, better than KT neck - better than anything.. Before 2.0.1 it gives 30 ap, 1 crit and 1 hit. 1 crit is basically the same as 1 hit. KT neck gives 2 crit and 24 ap. BC gives 1 crit 44 ap. 1 hit > 14 ap provided your dps is over 100. Changing 1/6 crit for 24 ap will only increase this value from a rogues point of view.

This neck is so sweet that I creamed my pants when I got it on my rogue. Currently the best neck for hunters aswell. Even feral druids and fury warriors gets great use out of this, especially now after the upgrade in 2.0

The 5 agility trade-off in the most recent patch seems to be more than worth it in my view. How far this will remain useful into the expansion remains to be seen, but changes to items such as this one and the Nozdormu rings will be very useful in the next month or so

This necklace is now the absolute best for all agility users, excepting feral tanks.
50 attack power and
around 1% crit
170 hp
1% hit.

Barbed choker doesnt stand up to this anymore, not does the garrote string necklace.

Hunters main stat is AGI just like a rogue, I think hunters and rogues are equally eligible for this item. Whoever has the more DKP I suppose.

30 agi = 60 RAP for the hunter and 0.6% crit, abit of dodge and abit of armour.

I'm a lvl 60 rogue, and though i would kill for this i do think hunters would make best use of it, cos they need less stamina then we do, and there is no stamina on this! Still, VERRY goor for rogue to!

Well.. A Hunter benefits a lot from this item, specially when he's got the +15% Agi Talent. Btw: 1Agi=2AP (range) for Hunter.

I'm not saying that rogues shouldn't take this, but in some cases it would be definitely better around a hunter's neck.

Comparation for fury warriors:

Onyxia Tooth Pendant: +1,6% crit, +1% to hit, +90 hp, +10 fire res

This little fella: +1,5% crit, +1% to hit, no life, no res, but nice bonus to dodge istead...

In other words - when you get one of those, stick to it and be happy, although I vote for Pendant :)

This neck needs to be buffed if we take into account that drops from nefarian, 30 agi is nice but no other stat makes it kind of crappy, add 1 crit or any other stat than to hit and it may become ok

Theoreticly: Which class would come best out with pure ".. of agility"-gear?
(Looking at it with a PvE prespective, as guilds that kills nefarian is without doubt a PvE-guild)

I'd say hunter. Why?
hunters don't really need a balance between the stats. We don't take as much damage as rogues, and therefore we don't need as much stamina as them..
The hunters's job is to stand back and do stable dps. How do they do this? with agi.

69/14 = 4.92 DPS increase

69 RAP that�s huge IMO

Rogues this is very nice but IMO Onyxia Tooth Pendant is better for you, Amulet of the Darkmoon is friggen sweet as well. I just don�t think you need to give up the stam for hardly any more MAP and about the same crit.

Warrior - Master Dragonslayer's Medallian, Pendant of the Qiraji Gardian, Onyxia Tooth Pendant, Hell Blazefury Medallion are all better for you. Your high as crap crit rate means nothing if you don�t have the power behind it.

Hunter/Rogue/Warrior the +1% Hit benefits you all so it�s a moot point.

Flame me if you want. All I ask is you think about what will benefit your guild the most - if you do that then you get the other crap you want faster.

now that things taht would normally be hunter loot due to only agility are now both rogue and hunter, ths thing now has 47AP ~1 crit and a hit, thats the best rogue neck, who cares about the 2 crit one in naxx. same goes with ring of the godslayer, since its now AP AND agility, its amazing for both.
can't wait to get mine @.@

If I remember correctly stats on this pre patch were 30 AGI and 1% hit? The new stats seem to be more desirable for a rogue now, you're trading 5 agility from the old one for 22 AP on the new one

What is with Blizzard's love affair with +hit. They just can't give us enough of a stat with a fixed cap. Anyone in a guild good enough to kill Nefarian will have all the +hit they can use.

A hunter would gain 69 ranged attack power. Hunters with Lightning Reflexes should clearly get preference over Hunters with inferior builds. Etc.

To be fair, this neck is best used by hunters, since they can pretty much get everything from agility.

I'm sorry, but any rogue or warrior that takes this over a onyxia tooth pendant needs to learn2play.

As a warrior who got the blood talisman for tanking, I might actually consider getting this one day, since I won't be able to get the onyxia tooth, but I'm sure there's better stuff out there for a fury warrior.

It's slightly better than the Onyxia Tooth Pendant, minus the 1% crit, when you're in an instance/Battleground that dosen't require Fire Resist. I'll probably pass on it for a while though because Maelstrom's Wrath is pretty nice too.

People seem to forget that there is a thing called a Feral Druid. I would bid for this, not only because I am a loot *!@#$, but also because it would greatly increase my crit rate in cat and bear forms. And for people that mention the Ony Tooth...I took the Blood Talisman, since it was better FR and there are so few things for +defense for druids.
