Just got this baby last night while helping a pally on his epic mount quest. This and the Freezing Lich Robes dropped from Ras. It was nice to be able to say "Need on both!" and getting both with no objection. This'll go great with Lorespinner and I can finally get rid of that damned Soulkeeper staff. Also got the uber wand Oblivion's Touch as a drop from the Knight we killed for the epic mount. All in all an extremely profitable run for me!

got it in my last (first actually =D) scholo run. bet I was lucky... Just need a descent off hand for it :) using it without anyting atm, was better than my illusionary rod i've been *cough* using for 4 months :)

Got it last night, as well as Death's clutch shoulders. With Elven Magi, you have one great combo.

I was still running around with my Illusionary Rod from SM when this dropped. This alone had nearly better stats and I managed to pick up an el-cheapo Bludstone Hammer of the AH (I missed out on the roll for Lorespinner). Turned out to be a nifty stats upgrade for me.

Been here many, many times before and have only seen this drop once. The drop rate on this seems to be pretty accurate.

This is currently my favorite offhand. I use it with focal sword for pvp or elven magi for pve. only thing is it looks the same as the tome of knowledge. oh well, it's fun.
