Long time Hunter. Learning how to play your class takes a little time and effort. Mastering your class, takes a very long time with blood sweat and tears.

The 1% Hit percentage, +4 Bows/Guns/Crossbows, +7 Axe/Sword/Mace, and other +Accuracy items add to your basic hit percentage. At 60th versus 60th level opponents you will have for example 75 percent hit percentage.

In Molten Core, you have to face level 61, 62, 63 trash mobs. That 75 percent hit percentage starts to go down fast. The Boss level ( 64+ ) opponents become even harder to hit. It's these situations that you want to make yourself appear to be more than a 60 hunter with 300 skill. Another 3 to 5 percent hit can actually make the difference of REAL DPS against heavily armored high level foes over the course of an hour. Doing steady DPS is our job.

For non MC/Instance Boss encounters, the +Crit +AGI gear becomes more effective as pulling extra aggro isn't going to cause a wipe. You can go nuts and swap +Spirit, +Int, +Sta, +Resist gear for +AGI, +Crit, +STR items. Thereby hitting hard and not worrying about having to regen mana/health on your feet.
