This schematic is pretty rare, so it sells for a decent amount. However, the item it makes is expensive, and not that useful. There are too many good necklaces to waste money making this item, unless you want it for special cases, like dueling a priest maybe...

Yes. It dropped for me tonight from the listed mob in the database. I did 4 runs on a lowbie, only seen it once - not enough data to confirm the drop rate though.
Good luck farming the schematic. =D

13 runs so far now through there, got a few epic items and an 'Orb of Deception' out of a trunk. Thousands of mageweave cloth at this point. Guess I'll flood the market with Tuxedo pants, shirt, and jackets! Still no schematic though..........sigh.

Can confirm that this does still drop as of 11 March 2012.
Finally got the pattern to drop after ~100 runs. I'm sure this will be downrated, but I don't care because I know that some people out there are interested in this information and need some motivation to keep farming for it.

Dropped for me today from the listed mob, 3/27/2012. This is a great item, no level requirement so it is great for level 1-10 twinks. The schematic is currently going for 500g on my server, the neck itself is going for about 250g.

Yes this still drops even after the recent patch. I finally got it to drop for me and I will be making lots and giving them out to low level pvp players, seeing how im on a realm that has no clue about low level pvp... doubt it would sell for 5 gold on my realm

Farmed this 5-28-13.
I went in specifically for this pattern not knowing if it would drop for me as I did not bring my engineer to farm. It did. You do not have to have engineering for it to drop.This pattern dropped for me on my first run.

I then went and reset the instance to farm more righeous orbs and what do you know, the Voice Amplification Modulator pattern dropped again as well as four more orbs. Quite the nice surprise!

Can confirm this item still drops from Risen Inquisitors as of 9/29/14.
Got it on my 15th run. Each run has between 1-8 Inquisitors.
I am an engineer, but previous posts suggest you do not have to be an engineer for it to drop.
I also got some enchanting and alchemy recipes along with LW/BS/tailoring patterns.

Hmmz i'd like one of those for a strat run since the silence there really sucks, same counts for scholo, the begin part. Too bad it aint a trinket, 14% would kinda rock.

Oh come off it, 300 gold? that's like buying 3 mounts for a neck armor recipe with noactual armor that does little to no use, I doubt you'd get a buy from that price. -_-

dropped last night in strat. put in ah as people I talked to said it was still good and can be used for some fights in outland. As it is a neck piece, there is no cooldown.
