Finally got it to drop after 4 ST runs, and as a 50 orc enhancement shaman I immediately need one of the only good enhance weapons you can get at this level without spending money on ah. The 48 warrior who already needed 2 faster weapons from the instance needs it as well, and I lose. So I ended up spending my remaining 40 g on a bonesnapper because I just couldn't stand walking around with a heaven's light anymore...

Excellent to dual-wield for a Shaman, high top-end damage for it's level range too. Hit rating+Top-end damage for WF=Win.

I was dual weilding these for awhile and was curious if this would be better in offhand with FT on it instead of WF/WF i was using.

I tested it for about 10 min on mobs i was questing on and got about the same DPS so i dropped the hand of antu'sul to drop that hassel of an AoE effect

Got this off a mob in Sunken Temple.
It is now my mainhand, with Thrashblade being offhand.

For its LvL requirement, it is one of the, if not THE, best 1H you can get.

I got this on my very first run (54 Warrior). So it is now my shield + 1h weapon.

And a note... it talks to you! After I got it, I headed back to Tanaris to turn in a quest, and I notice a few minutes after I turned it in:

Eranikus the Chained whispers: (this part isn't exact, I dont remember exactly what he said) Release me! Foolish mortal, release me back to the swamp of sorrows... release me...

Anyway, people started thinking I was on drugs, but it really did!

I havnt gotten this yet, but i do how ever have the Dragon's Call.

I wouldnt mind getting this axe and duel wielding the axe with dragons call.

just picked this axe up earlier today, im an arms warrior but i figured i'd use it to tank with. Put a nice Icey on it as well, and it looks grrreat! :]

and btw idk if im just lucky or whatever, but i've killed Eranikus 5 times and every single time this dropped along with something else. heh XD

Dropped today of the dragon.

Won it on my Shaman, replaced , its a bit quicker, but seems to do more damage so i'll keep :)

I have this and it is awesome. I am equipping a Thrash Blade in off-hand ;(
I am a lvl 55 Tauren Hunter. This will most likely be my end of game 1H. What would you reccommend for an off-hand weapon or item? could someone explain to me what the off-hand damage is like and how it is computed?

just spent the last couple hours tearing up the beasts in Un'Goro with this bad boy and another nice 1h axe. Not too mention I got it enchanted with extra attack. Definately keeping this until 60.

this is good for main hand fury warriors.. i have this and Axe OF Rin'ji in my offhand. it doesnt have tanking stats tho... great for solo pve and pvp

I'm a lvl 56 warrior, and a mage took this out from under me.. Seems fair, right? :rolleyes: Would have made a nice upgrade from thrash blade, or a nice compliment to it for dual wielding, but i guess he needed it more than I did. (Yes, he was Chinese.)

I was in a group, 50 warrior, and we pwned eranikus, but then the pally got the axe, lvl 54, good or bad? im not exactly a tank but i was tanking then.

This was great -- I ultimately put fiery on it, and it got a longer lifespan. This was my main tank axe until I got the Silent Fang sword -- a truly amazing one hand + shield weapon.

This one looks extremely wicked -- kind of like a mini-one handed whirlwind axe actually.

Dropped for me my 5th run of ST, stupid cloth and wands kept dropping so i was getting bored of ST, all i was there for was the Crest Of Supremecy, but it still hasn't dropped 5 times now hopefully tomorow it will drop, anyways this is a cool weapon. right as i got it i hearthed to orgrimmar and got +4 weap dmg, after trying for about an hour for a fiery, got bored and went ahead with the +4 (its all good =D)
