It ONLY procs for range dps specs, so healers don't get hazy, you won't benefit from its proc.
Plus its passive part works like this -
1. Critical damage is increased by 6%, meaning if you are hitting 100.000 damage with a spell, then it's critical won't be 200.000, but 6% more which is 206.000.
2. The same thing goes for healing, so if you try to help your healers out with some healing spells, you will benefit from the item.
and finally 3. it DOESN'T increase you haste mastery and spirit by 6%, it only increases the stat you have. I mean if you have 1000 mastery 5000 haste and 3000 spirit, then you will have an overall of 1060 mastery, 5300 haste and 3180 spirit.
So basically if your aren't goodly geared this won't make you any better.
1 more thing i would like to mention - druids, priests and shamans benefit the MOST out of this item, as they get hit out of spirit. So, basically, if you have this trinket items with spirit are better for you than items with hit, as you will be able to have hit cap faster and aim for other 2ndary stats.

Although the tooltip rounds all three values to "6%," you DO get an increased value for upgrading Purified Bindings of Immerseus.

I've been very unfortunate so far about obtaining this trinket.
I just have a quick question: When it 'amplifies' Haste/Mastery/Spirit by 6% (or more specifically 5.5% at 0/2), with 25% spell haste, for example, does it become 30.5% spell haste, or (25x1.055)= 26.38% spell haste? I'm guessing the latter, but am unsure.

As a short conclusion, this trinket unfortunately doesn't proc off Holy Fire, Smite and Penance, despite them being damage-spells.
(Confirmed by own experience, GM's, blueposts, forum posts and training dummy sessions).
So it's pretty much useless for discipline priests. (Besides the raw stat amplification).

The only way for disc priests to proc it is melee-attacking the opponent, which of course isn't very useful in most situations... ;)

As a disc priest, better stick to other trinkets like 傲慢稜石之獄, 間歇式畸形負載平衡器 or 梭克的酸蝕之牙.
Maybe even 影潘之襲的舒緩咒符 from Shado-Pan Assault if you are unlucky with bossdrops, available for 1155 valor points.

So according to Icy Veins, this is the best "type" of trinket for Holy Paladins. The heroic warforged version is BiS. However the Raid Finder version isn't on the Paladin loot list at all.
