Garalon General Strategy
Phase One
Garalon is a relatively simple fight that requires a little coordination. Since Garalon will always fixate on a random player in Phase One, Tanks are not required to taunt him until then.
Who Garalon fixates on entirely depends on who currently has the debuff

. It will first be cast on whoever is closest to Garalon when he is engaged. This can be passed on to any other player by walking into them, so the raid is always in control of who is currently being fixated. Since it deals increasing, raid-wide Nature damage, a rotation should be set up as the same player cannot have the debuff for very long. Consider passing it on at around 20 stacks. Whoever has the Pheromones should run around the very edge of Garalon's arena, as it will periodically drop

puddles, which need to be kept as far from the raid as possible.
On Normal mode, Garalon will cast

every time Pheromones are passed on to another player. He does not do this on Heroic, but instead casts Crush every 35 seconds. This deals a large amount of damage, and you should consider setting up a defensive raid cooldown rotation for this.
The DPS not currently kiting Garalon should focus on his four legs, utilizing the buff

they get from standing close to them. Note that the Weak Point buff can only be used to gain bonus damage on the closest leg, though it also benefits attacks that cleave onto the main body. You will need to move into the circle of whichever leg you are targeting to gain the appropriate buff. When all four legs are destroyed, Garalon takes damage.
Phase Two
At 33%, Garalon will stop fixating on whatever target currently has Pheromones, but will instead start attacking the target highest on the threat table, which should be your Tanks. There is no need to swap, but both Tanks should be in front of Garalon to soak.

. At this point, all that's left is to kill the boss. A good tip is to get his four legs close to being destroyed as he is about to reach 33%. Then finish all of them off at once to remove a large portion of his Health, shortening this phase.

Tanks
Tanks should ensure that they are highest on the threat table before Garalon reaches 33%.
Both Tanks should stand in front of Garalon during Phase Two to soak

DPS players should focus on Garalon's legs, while being careful of not standing underneath his body, as this will trigger

Garalon Abilities
費洛蒙
– Pheromones will deal a small, but increasing amount of Nature damage to the entire raid while it is active. It also causes Garalon to fixate on the target that is currently afflicted with Pheromones. Pheromones can be passed onto any other player within 2 yards.
敏感
– When a player is inflicted with Pheromones, they will receive Pungency as a stacking debuff, increasing the damage dealt by Pheromones to the entire raid by 10%. Pungency stacks every 2 seconds.

– Players inflicted with Pheromones will leave behind a Pheromone Trail, dealing Nature damage to anyone nearby.

– Garalon causes high raid-wide damage and will likely kill anyone who is under Garalon's body. Garalon will cast Crush whenever Pheromones are passed onto a new target or a raid member is under Garalon.
- On Heroic Mode, Garalon no longer casts Crush when Pheromones are passed between players, but instead casts Crush every 35 seconds.

– Happens when Garalon is below 33% Health. He deals Physical damage in a large cone in front of him, splitting the damage between everyone hit. If he does not hit at least two targets, he will be enraged.

– Players close to Garalon's legs will have their damage dealt to that leg increased by 100%.

So is phase 2 a heroic only mechanic or something? We went into HoF Monday night and there was never a transition where he stopped fixating or anything like that, we just did "phase 1" the entire time. Garalon also casts furious swipe the entire time which this guide implies only happens in "phase 2". I use wowhead for pretty much all of my prep work so I'm just curious where the disconnect is happening.

Awesome video, our ranged dps are running with melee to all the legs, using the center of the room is a good idea, this fight is not fun for a low range dps.
