Initially this title was to be "Archiereus"... I wish they kept it that way. Fire-Watcher ? Is it a reference to Survivor, a game played on an island where contestants have to watch over their fire constantly? Why else would you want to watch over a fire ?
This achievement won't be so easy to get but doesn't seem worth the effort.
I would even have signed for any of the other achievements as the title to be "Oathguard", "Blazebinder", "Kilnmaster" sounded a lot cooler. Fire-Watcher... without me guys...

This has got to be Blizzard's secret way to make your server hate you. 10,000 kills? That is insane. Especially given the fact that Island will be pretty much empty in about 6 months, that's about 50-60 eligible killing blows (not even HK) every day. I think this will be impossible to get after this expansion.

2000 is still a large amount. If you count killing 20 people, thats still more than 3 months, or 1/4th of a year of straight pvp wins, not even counting all the times you'll lose or get ganked on the isle, along with all the other pve stuff, and shaohao grinding. Its in the ballpark of the Insane in the Membrane after this expansion has passed, where everyone will rarely be on the isle.

I agree that Archiereus would have been a much cooler title. Fire-Watcher isn't bad though. The only problem is that I find it too similar to the Summer Event titles, oh well...

Just got this achievement. It's a long grind.

Some tips:

If you kill a death knight with Purgatory, you won't get a coin on the first kill. If you follow him to the graveyard and kill him again, you will get a coin, assuming he still has the Perdition debuff (purgatory is on CD).
Holy priests have 救贖之靈 and will not grant you a bloody coin. Ever. They get the debuff 歐朵斯的祭品 and do not grant a coin. Check every priest's buffs for any of the Chakras and, if they have one, simply avoid them, as there's no reason to kill them.
As other people have stated, you only get the coin on a killing blow. You can utilize mobs to help you dps your fellow players, but make sure to CC them when your target gets low or they can and will steal your bloody coin.
Grouping up doesn't really work unless you're a class with a good, ranged execute (hunter, destro lock, priest). I farmed all of my coins solo. Many classes will probably fare best, in terms of efficiency, if they do the same.
Always check graveyards for afk players and easy coins. Also, check the horde and alliance bases on the coast for people who afk while they take the flightpath to the island. Often, there will be several afk players (depending on server pop) both at the flight master and the nearby graveyard.

Is this title "accountwide" like when you get it on one character you can use it on all of your characters or do you need to get that achievement on all characters to use the title on them any one know?

Let me share my knowlage for you achievement hunters out there:

1.When you use 無盡苦難香爐

-You dont gain nor lose reputation,what does that mean for you?Simple,when you kill guards at celestial court you DONT decrease your reputation with The Augustial Celestials so you are free to kill guards there if the try to interrupt your kill,the down side of this is that while you in Emissary mode you cant farm reputation with Emperor Shaohao by killing Ordon members though you can loot em normal and do quests and stuff

-You need to remember that any Item buffs you can get from the daily quest Path of the Mistwalker or simply geting by looting a mob will be canceled that includes Shire blessings and Weapons from legend(the ones you need for achievement 過往的傳說 and opening the cave for the rare elite 史勒剋 is in,so once your Emissary you cant pick up those items...well you can pick them up but the buff they provide will be removed from you in 2 second).The only buff you CAN KEEP is the Timeless Nutriment for a 5% stats boost you get by eating various foods around Timeless isle

-Lastly KILLING BLOWS made by you and ONLY YOU will get you 血腥硬幣 and that mean that enemys geting killed by fall dmg or mob dmg or some sort of item like 拉沙的獻祭匕首 or some "self destruct" spells like Death Knights Purgatory or Mages Cauterize or Holy priests Spirit of Redemption for that matter,so if your victims die from those effects you wont get your coin so be aware,also killing blows made by your PETs do count and by pets I mean warlock and hunter pets not sure if guardian killing blows count didnt see or know any cases yet so if any one knows do replay.

-Also 無盡苦難香爐 CD can be refreshed by entering and leaving an Arena match(though most ppl just wait)

2.When you use 護火者之誓

-You are only hostile to enemy faction,you cant mount(unless you can have a change costume item like 驚懼水手之歌 or any costume that allows you to mount the buff that gives you the possiblity to earn the coin wont disapear),KILLING BLOWS have a 10% chance to get you a Bloody Coin,enemys you kill dont get the debuff 歐朵斯的祭品,doesnt remove any buffs or shire blessings like 無盡苦難香爐 does if you use it on the Timeless isle,doesnt make you hostile with guards on timeless isles nor prevents you from gaining or loseing reputation.

-Entering and leaveing Arena match DOES NOT reset CD

-My personal opinion on item:For coin collecting NOT IN A MILLION YEARS,for a cool costume when bored in raids or/and want to brag to ppl in the future YES

3.For farming coins I wont go in all details but will share you a few of my own tips

-Unlikely as it may seem Range dps have the biggest advantage here not stealthers.Reason behind it is range can easly nuke down ppl that are in Hord or Alliance camps without pulling guards or in celestial court at graveyards or prity much any where around the arena where boss encounter takes place(with the exception of two stair cases where there are 4 guards close to each other,guards are easy to kill but with all those stuns binds interrupts make it easy for your would-be-victim to score a kill againts you)

-I suggest camping camps from water and have a 受詛咒的潛水者頭盔 for a quick getaway(or blink,disingage or leave a Demonic circle in water like I do with my lock),farm graveyard when ppl go afk or celestial court where ppl also go afk cuz they feel safe...trust me it is far from safe exept the stairs at the front entrance and you need to hide behind the broken wall at one of the sides that makes it impossible for range to avoid any contacts with at least 1 of the guards there and most wont take that risk because 無盡苦難香爐 has a 10 min cd

-Dont attack ppl that are killing rares or elites reason is simple the rare may take your killing blow and that way you piss off the person without geting your kill,my suggestion kill the rare with them and just before kill is secured DPS THEM /grin,they will instinctivly go loot the rare before they start attacking you and that gives you a realy realy nice(fiendlish) head start in the killing race(works every time trust me),only expection is on Huolon or Dread Ship Vazuvius I wait till some one makes a mistake moveing 2 slow and I just...take the coin as my achievement hunters duty is

-Farm the opposite faction *cought* only.No reason to piss off both sides with your killing spree,so kill on sight(the ones you can kill)the opposite faction,ask your own faction if you can kill them so they dont attack you or help you kill other faction if they get 2 pissed off at you and start hunting you down like rabbit dogs across the map,as for the people that just happend to stay *cought* silent while you dps them THEY 100% APROVE OF YOUR DECISION OF KILLING THEM(in Law those that stay silent they aprove)regardless of faction

-Lastly for those of you that are on low populated server and have a hard time finding your "unwilling contributioners" for the achievement simply ask a friend to inv you cross realm to there server OR oQueue up for a celestial raid and be a good raid member and make sure that the opposite faction doesnt interrupt your raid friends in killing the boss by...you gessed it BY MOWING THEM DOWN LEFT AND RIGHT WITHOUT ANY MERCY OR DISCRETION once the raid is over and ppl start to leave do help your self with...additional coins from any one you lay your sight on(they from other server not like you will meet them ever ever again)

-realy dono if you consider this "a few tips" sorry

4.-I have not yet compleated this achievement my self(890 coins so far) and dont know if the title this achievement awards is account bind and can be used on all characters on you account cuz a few titles cant and hopeing this isnt one of those title(I hope I am just being paronoide).So share that info if any one does this before me.

-People I compleated the achievement and the title IS account-bound so you can use it on any alt you wish.

-If you are wondering what to do with the remaining 1100 coins or so I suggest waiting for WoD and then cashing them into 復仇刺蝟 cuz at that time that pet will be "unobtainable"(can you imaginate Timeless Isles after WoD?A real wasteland if you ask me) so when WoD come out and the pets price gets ridiculously high on AH it is time to cash in your blood,sweat and tears into a huge pile of gold :)

P.S. I hope you all enjoyed doing this achievement like I did,did put a lot of sweat into it while the blood and tears part was provided from my "contributioners".

P.P.S. I suggest doing the achievement now cuz when patch 6.0. hits you can kiss your title(mount,pet) good bye.

P.P.P.S. Before WoD comes out I suggest farming as much gold as possible cuz if my gut feeling is correct(and it is 100% ALLWAYS CORRECT when gold is involved) in WoD I am realy afraid there wont be enough gold to go around(not that it ever is,but this time especially) so I suggest getting your hands on as much gold as you can(the 復仇刺蝟 will featch you a realy nice boost in gold though...till a 300k gold mount appears or you have to upgrade your Garrison that will probably take a realy realy lot of gold from you,amoung other things),or buy things like 108k mount or some other expensive mount,pet or any other thing so you dont need to save gold for things from older expansions,so I hope you all have fun with your gold grinding and achievement farming ppl :)

If you want to farm coins quickly but you're afraid of burning too many bridges on your own server, 5.4.2's cross-realm raid finder tool includes world bosses Ordos and the Celestials, making it a quick and easy way to cross to another server to farm the coins from both factions, if you so choose.
A lot of groups pull the boss before everyone is there anyway, and either don't notice or don't care if a few people or more aren't present at the boss.
If the raid leader logs after the boss kill, you're free to stick around on his/her server for a while.
Sure, it may be dishonest, but if you're going for this achievement you're probably going to want to set your morality aside for a bit.

This achievement is not as difficult as i expected when i started it.
As an balance druid with 543 pve ilvl I can easily make 100-150 coins a day.

How i do it:
First i find a safe spot to use my Censer. Usually little out in the water.
Then i proceed to check graveyards / camps for afk players.
Both camps becomes neutral towards you when you use the Censer and killing guards will not decrease your reputation.
I make no difference from killing Horde or Alliance.
I try to stay away from the upper part of the island as there are more groups running around / easy to get caught with all the players killing for reputation / Huolon.
Other than that i just try to avoid big groups and gank every target i think i can take on.

Update: The best way to farm coins is to simply use the Fire-Watcher's Oath. This can be used in a similar fashion to the censer on the timeless isle to players of the opposing fashion and does not give a debuff letting you farm them over and over again. Paired with the censer it lets you get at least 1 coin on the isle for anyone you kill and 2 coins if they do not have the debuff. The other way is to que for random bgs and use the Oath inside. You are able to mount with the Oath now making it the go to method. Healers will have a hard time but if you focus on sniping kills it should come in no time.

The following are some tips if you want to farm bloody coins the old fashioned way.

Here are some tips to help you farm Bloody Coin. First for PVE realms and then for PVP realms.

On a PVE Realm you only have a few options. The first and likely what you will spend hours of time wasting is looking for the rare flagged players. What should be your bread and butter, and will undoubtedly make people spread more hate in general chat than you can imagine is to cause other players to flag for PVP.

The two ways that I have found to be the most effective is to use a
Obsidian Nightwing to turn yourself into a mount and go stand on peoples kills while they are looting. If they right click you then they will begin to auto attack which will flag them for PVP.

The other way to get people to flag easily is to use the Aqua Jewel which you can get from Sahn Tidehunter in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and has a 9% drop rate. This item will make you near invisible and make flagging people when standing on their kills even easier. Standing on dead rares and player's kills will work wonders for flagging players when using large mounts like the mammoths or in conjunction with Obsidian Nightwing.

Using any of these above methods will cause people to hate you and don't be surprised when players group up specifically to kill you. General chat will likely become volatile and remind long time players of Barrens chat.

Now for PVP servers.

I leveled a toon on a PVP server specifically for farming coins and here is the biggest and most effective way I have found is to camp places where players go AFK. One of the perks of using the Censer of Eternal Agony is that you can both the Alliance and Horde flight path areas. You are not hostile to Horde or Alliance guards. Only the Shaohao guards are hostile if you get to close. Players often afk when they first get to the island or think it is a safe place. You are actually able to get close enough to players as a ranged class to kill those players. Now three things will happen at those areas. They will be afk and give you a free stay where they are confused why they are being attacked, flee, or attack you. So check graveyards and anywhere players afk. The nice thing about this method is the kills are generally free and you are not impeding players.

Now last but not least my favorite method that I call Sharking. To do this you are going to need to acquire the Cursed Swabby Helmet from a chest in a ship on the bottom of the ocean near Old Pi'jiu. This item will make you very mobile in the water. The reason I call it sharking is you will circle the island and kill unsuspecting players by taking them by surprise like a shark. You can use this item to kill players at the flight path using the previous method. Other uses include killing players as they farm turtles on the beach or are following Evermaw around the Timeless Isle.

This achievement can be done in just a few days. You need:
- 100 Timeless Coins
- 2 computers (it can be done with running 2 copies of WoW and alt-tabbing, but 2 computers is way faster)

Spend 100 Timeless Coins to buy 護火者之誓
Using that item has 10% chance to grant a Bloody Coin when killing opposite faction player. It does not require target to give honor, so it can grant you a coin when killing a low level player. So start killing low level players!

Install WoW on second computer and create trial WoW account. Its free. Create low level character on your realm on opposite faction. Move it to graveyard that is not guarded by NPCs where you can safely kill it over and over again. Toggle PvP, use Oath on your main character and kill your alt. Release spirit, talk to spirit healer to resurrect, kill alt again.

With this method you can get one kill every 4 seconds or 150 kills per 10 minute duration of Oath that should net you about 15 Bloody Coins.

How to make it even faster: use macro for resurrection.
/run RepopMe()
If your alt is below level 10 you can also macro resurrection at spirit healer:
/run RepopMe()AcceptResurrect()AcceptXPLoss()
Create macro, bind it to a key, start spamming it. On your main character spam some AoE, such as Blizzard or Hurricane. That should reduce downtime between kills to about 2.5-3 seconds, granting you about 25 Bloody Coins per 10 minute duration of Oath.
