Cutting Edge Feats of Strength can only be obtained in their current tier, so players can't go back later with better gear to get it.

I like this change, won't be as bad as losing Realm First FoS back in Wrath due to 25 man limit per kill, even though in 99% of cases much more than 25 people contributed to encounter progression. Still brings something special for Heroic Raiders to brag about and you can earn it for all active raiders on your roster!

"with the Dampening Field inactive or disabled."

If the dampening field refers to the nerfs, then you could potentially disable it at any time, thus making this obtainable during all of the expansion.

This is the spell related to achievement. It's clearly a nerf spell but it's not active yet .

The "major feature" incoming this expansion might be an item level limiter post 5.2 akin to Challenge Modes, which coupled with the "dampening field disabled" could mean that the Feat would be obtainable at any time. But this is just a hypothesis.

how can u disable dampening field if its not ingame? and why would blizzard say disabled in the achievement? Its a fact that dampening field is innactive atm, but how can we disable something when its not added yet?

These "Cutting Edge" achievements are Blizzards solution to raiders feeling like their accomplishments were cheapened when a few patches later, players could go in and easily defeat bosses that once caused endless hours of frustration. The only solace raiders previously has was "Check my achievement date, I got that so far before everyone," while now these provide a small reward for those who managed to clear heroic end bosses when they were current.

So far we have four achievements, including this one:
英雄先鋒:大帝之志
英雄先鋒:杉齊爾女皇
英雄先鋒:恐懼之煞

And it looks like Blizzard will continue this trend in 5.2 with 英雄先鋒:雷神 as well as 英雄先鋒:萊公

In 5.2 Blizzard will also be releasing "Ahead of the Curve" achievements for those that managed to clear end bosses on normal when they were current content.

And again, Blizzard will continue with these achievements in 5.2 with 領先群雄:雷神

These achievements will be phased out over time, becoming unattainable when the new raid tier is released. Meaning that after 5.2 is released these achievements (Normal or Heroic) for Will of the Emperor, Grand Empress Shek'Zeer, and Sha of Fear will no longer be attainable.

Note that the titles are not linked to these achievements so if you didn't manage to get Delver of the Vaults or The Fearless, you can go back and get them later!

A much easier achievement to get in a 10 man guild that 25 man for sure. Haters gonna hate.
