For this quest, the Goblins will have you disguise yourself as a package runner for the Crown Chemical Co., and you must head outside either Оргриммар or Штормград, where you'll find a stockpile of the Company's goods. Run by it quickly to have the Товары Королевской химической компании handed off to you before they notice you aren't really on their side, and bring it back to the investigator. For Horde players, the parcels can be found to the left outside of Orgrimmar, tucked away in a corner near the city wall. It's best to go find the parcel camps first before accepting the quest, as the Goblin disguise has only a 2-minute duration, during which you are stuck sprinting on foot.

Horde players are sent to Рока, at Gotri's Travelling Goods in Оргриммар's Drag, while Alliance players can find Marion Sutton at the Gilded Rose in Штормград's Trade District

Well, it turns out Snivel has flown the coop! The distraught (but mostly annoyed) ladies send you on a hunt for that lying Goblin, Snivel, and have you search the Bank, Auction House, and Barber Shop of your faction's respective city (Оргриммар or Штормград).

Simply talk to him, and you'll get Гроссбух Снивела. Bring this ledger back to Snip or Snap, and this chain leads into Засланный шпион or Засланный шпион and the inevitable defeat of Apothecary Hummel, the seasonal event Boss.

Simply bring the greeting card to Snap or Snip, and the quest chain ends, rather abruptly and unceremoniously.

This quest has you return to Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar or Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind.

Fight Overview

Аптекарь Хаммел, Аптекарь Бакстер, and Аптекарь Фрай can be found in Крепость Темного Клыка at the main, "outdoor" area of the keep, near the stabled horses. You need to be level 20 to queue up for this encounter. The fight is fairly straightforward and seems much more confusing than it really is. On a nearby table, you will find the Нейтрализатор запаха духов and Нейтрализатор запаха одеколона. Loot the scents you plan on using for the fight.

First, select either the cologne or perfume and use it. This will apply a buff that negates all damage from the chosen source.

Нейтрализатор запаха духов creates a purple aura and makes you immune to Чарующие духи and Аромат чарующих духов.
Нейтрализатор запаха одеколона creates a green aura and makes you immune to Неодолимо притягательный одеколон and Аромат неодолимо притягательного одеколона.

There are three total apothecaries in the encounter:

Аптекарь Хаммел uses Чарующие духи and has the melee-range aura Аромат чарующих духов. His damage can be nullified by use of Нейтрализатор запаха духов.
Аптекарь Бакстер uses Неодолимо притягательный одеколон and and has the melee-range aura Аромат неодолимо притягательного одеколона. His damage can be nullified by use of Нейтрализатор запаха одеколона.
Аптекарь Фрай runs around throwing bottles of perfume and cologne on the ground, creating dangerous clouds where they land. He drops threat and basically just runs around wreaking havoc.

The fight is relatively simple and can be completed by a group with as few as two well-geared players. Simply have one person in your party "tank" Аптекарь Хаммел, applying Нейтрализатор запаха духов to nullify the damage of his attacks, and another player tank Аптекарь Бакстер using the Нейтрализатор запаха одеколона. Frye cannot be tanked and will spend the entire fight throwing cologne/perfume bottles and switching aggro. None of the Apothecaries deal significant melee damage and could probably be "tanked" by any class, provided they're wearing the appropriate scent. They can also be stunned, so a rogue can probably keep the more annoying Аптекарь Фрай stun locked.

The other three players in your party can apply whichever scent they'd like, just being cautious to avoid opposite-colored clouds on the ground (they're actually somewhat difficult to see and cause ridiculous damage if you stand in them). Players should also try to stay away from the opposite-colored boss, as Аптекарь Хаммел and Аптекарь Бакстер have a melee-range aura that can cause serious damage if you're in range too long. Also, "tanks" should face their Apothecaries away from the rest of the group, to avoid spraying them. If your poison or cologne buff runs out mid-fight, simply use the item again to reapply the buff.

Throughout the fight, both Аптекарь Хаммел and Аптекарь Бакстер will start working at small alchemy labs they pull out of who-knows-where, eventually causing a Цепная реакция, which will hit anyone in the area. Also, Безумный аптекарь will spawn endlessly, running wildly for a few seconds before exploding in an Нестабильная реакция, dealing around damage to anybody nearby. These adds die upon exploding and cannot be tanked or controlled, so you'll probably end up getting hit a few times.

Kill all three of the Apothecaries (in any order), and the loot can be found on the body of Аптекарь Хаммел.

Seasonal Goodies

Most of the items required for seasonal achievements can be purchased from seasonal vendors, using Знак любвиs. This currency can be acquired through completion of Любовная лихорадка daily quests.

Love is in the Air has several battle pet rewards and mount rewards.

Love Tokens

Love Tokens can be acquired from doing daily quests, as described above in our quest section. Every day, players can earn 33 Знак любвиs from quests. You can also turn in a Чудесный браслет-оберег, made with 10 Чудесный оберег, for one Знак любви.

To buy all the items required to finish Безумие любви, you will need a minimum of 88 Знак любвиs (98 with the addition of Корзинка для романтического пикника). A couple of items have some RNG to them, and you may have to buy multiples.

Toys

There are 2 toys available from Love is in the Air:

Сердцеед is a low-drop item from the Apothecary Hummel Encounter. It puts a broken heart above your head and makes you cry.
Корзинка для романтического пикника for 10 Love Tokens. This is a toy that lets you set up a romantic picnic.

Mount

There is one mount tied to this event: "Сердцеед" X-45, which is very low drop from the Аптекарь Хаммел encounter.

Holiday Fashion

Love is in the Air offers fashion as well as fun!

Коробка с красивым платьем contains one of four dresses: Красивое черное платье, Красивое красное платье, Красивое синее платье, Красивое лиловое платье. Dress color is random.

There are two fashionable headgear pieces from the Аптекарь Хаммел encounter. Вечно прекрасная роза appears as a flower carried in male characters' teeth, and a rose tucked behind female characters' ears. Маска злобного фумигатора is a gas mask with canisters filled with concentrated perfume. If you're unlucky, you can temporarily get the effect of Вечно прекрасная роза with Прекрасная роза, which you can purchase with Знак любвиs.

In Mists of Pandaria Classic, you can also attain the meta-achievement Безумие любви, as well as the title , for completing twelve specific Love is in the Air achievements. Безумие любви is a necessary step to one of the biggest meta-achievements in game, (complete achievements for all major holidays), which culminates in the coveted Поводья аметистового протодракона!

Love is In the Air Achievements in Mists of Pandaria Classic

While there are 15 total achievements for Love is in the Air, 12 are required for the meta-achievement Безумие любви and title. The other 3 will give you achievement points and are fun to do. These 12 are listed first and marked with . Optional ones are listed afterward.

Meta-Achievement: Fool for Love

and Безумие любви are the two faction versions of the Love is In the Air meta-achievement. The activities are nearly identical, although a few will have some different NPCs involved. Completing this will give the title and count as a major part of the big achievement . The required 12 achievements are listed below.

Be Mine!

Eat the 8 "Bag of Candies" heart candies listed below.

Будь со мной! requires eating 8 specific candy hearts from the Пакетик с леденцами-сердечками, which you can purchase for from any Милая продавщица in the capital cities. It has 10 charges, so you have 10 chances to get all 8 different Леденец-сердечко.

While the candies are not soulbound, the only way to get credit for the achievement is to create them through using the Пакетик с леденцами-сердечками. Trading or purchasing them will not give credit.

The eight candies you need to collect will say the following:

You will likely need to get more than one Пакетик с леденцами-сердечками to complete this achievement, unless you're very lucky with your first bag.

Charming

Create 12 Lovely Charm Bracelets.

Чудесный оберег requires you to make 12 Чудесный браслет-оберегs. You will need 4 of these to complete the later achievement Всенародная любовь or Всенародная любовь, so be sure to save them for that purpose.

Dangerous Love

Assist the Steamwheedle Cartel in stopping the sinister Crown Chemical Co. plot.

Опасная любовь starts with Необычные ароматы / Необычные ароматы in Stormwind City/Orgrimmar. This goes through a series of quests that also open access to the Аптекарь Хаммел event.

Questline: Investigate the Crown Chemical Co.

Fistful of Love

Use a Handful of Rose Petals on each of the race/class combinations listed below.

You can purchase 5x Горсть розовых лепестков for , but since there are 11, you'll need to get 3 stacks for a total of . Горсть розовых лепестков is a conjured item, so it cannot be traded or mailed. You'll need to save one Горсть розовых лепестков for another achievement, Заигрывания со страшилищем / Заигрывания со страшилищем.

The best place to complete this quest is in Dalaran. Usually, during holidays, players who have characters of the correct combination will stand on the bank steps and let people throw rose petals at them. If you happen to be one of these race/class combinations, feel free to throw rose petals on yourself for credit!

Flirt with Disaster

Get completely smashed, put on your best perfume, throw a handful of rose petals on Jeremiah Payson/Sraaz, and then kiss him. You'll regret it in the morning.

I Pitied the Fool

Pity the Love Fool in the locations specified below.

Пожалей влюбленного is an achievement that requires going into a few different dangerous areas, three of which are PvP. Don't be too daunted, as most of these are relatively easy to complete.

This requires you to drop a Манекен влюбленного in specific PvP, raid, and dungeon locations. These cost each, so you'll need a total of 50 Знак любвиs to complete this achievement. This is because each Манекен влюбленного is only a single-use item. If you are doing this as a group, you don't need to provide all the Манекен влюбленногоs. You can /pity a Манекен влюбленного dropped by someone else -- even someone of the opposite faction!

Once you have a Манекен влюбленного in the right place, target it and do the /pity emote.

The following macro works to do the /pity emote quickly. First, it searches for an existing Love Fool to use in the area instead of dropping one of your own. If it doesn't find one, it will summon it; use the macro again to do the /pity.

You can use Незаметность or Крадущийся зверь to /pity an existing Love Fool; however, summoning one of your own breaks stealth.

Here are some tips for each of the areas. Be sure to note exactly what you need to do or risk wasting a Манекен влюбленного!

Wintergrasp: You can do this anywhere within Wintergrasp. Remember that much of it becomes a no-fly zone while the event is up. Just nip into an out-of-the-way corner.
Naxxramas: You must be inside the raid instance and in a raid (you can't do this alone, but you only need 1 other person to convert to a "raid"). Again, just pop inside the raid to do your work.
Culling of Stratholme: All you have to do is enter the instance; there is no particular place you need to drop it.
Gurubashi Arena: With this one, you have to be inside the PvP arena to do your drop. You can't go to the walls outside, even if your system is telling you that you are inside Gurubashi Arena. Make sure your minimap says "Battle Ring".
Arathi Basin: This one specifically states that you need to drop it at the Blacksmith inside Arathi Basin. Anywhere in the Blacksmith area will work.

Lonely?

Enjoy a Buttermilk Delight with someone in Dalaran at a Romantic Picnic during the Love is in the Air celebration.

The Сливочное блаженство comes from a Коробка шоколадных конфет, which can be purchased from a Lovely Merchant for . You'll need to eat one of these anyway to help earn Сластена, so make sure to save this one for the Вам одиноко? achievement.

You can either purchase your own Корзинка для романтического пикника toy for , or you can join other players at their setup. You can almost always find one set up in Dalaran or in one of the major cities, particularly Orgrimmar or Stormwind, near the Lovely Merchants and Auction House. In fact, you will often find players in chat advertising that they are looking for more at their picnic.

To earn this achievement, you must have at least one other player sitting at the same Корзинка для романтического пикника as you. Wait until someone joins you and you see a heart over your head. After that, eat the Сливочное блаженство.

My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose

Obtain a Bouquet of Red or Ebon Roses during the Love is in the Air celebration.

Моя любовь подобна алой розе requires getting either a Букет красных роз or Букет черных роз. These are Bind on Pickup and drop from the following dungeon bosses. Only 1 drop per group; since these are Unique, only those without the item can roll for it.

Всенародная любовь and Всенародная любовь require you to create and present a Чудесный браслет-оберег to each of the faction leaders in your own side's major cities. You only get the chance to do the achievement for your own side; the opposite faction's leaders won't accept your gifts.

You need to make 12 of these anyway for Чудесный оберег, so save 4 to spend here.

Sweet Tooth

Sample the Love is in the Air candies listed below.

Сластена requires eating four different candies found in a Коробка шоколадных конфет, which can be purchased from a Lovely Merchant for . These are Сливочное блаженство, Темное желание, Ягодный-преягодный крем, Сладкий десерт. Usually, you can get all four from a single box, but sometimes the RNG plays dirty.

If you only have one Сливочное блаженство, save it for completing the Вам одиноко? achievement.

These are considered conjured items, so they may not be traded or mailed.

The Rocket's Pink Glare

Shoot off 10 Love Rockets in 20 seconds or less.

Розовые отблески фейерверков requires Милые фейерверки, which can be purchased from a Lovely Merchant for each. You'll need 10, so you'll need to invest in 2 sets.

Put this achievement on Track so you can see the timer easily. The timer for this starts as soon as you hit the first rocket.

The best way to do this is to hotkey to your action bar, using your keyboard to spam the rocket while clicking the ground with your mouse.

Optional Achievements

None of these are required to complete the or Безумие любви meta achievement, but you may wish to do them anyway!

Lovely Luck Is On Your Side

Open a Lovely Dress Box and receive a Lovely Black Dress. (Not required for Fool for Love)

This requires Коробка с красивым платьем, which can be purchased from a Lovely Merchant for . It can contain one of four dresses: the Красивое синее платье, Красивое красное платье, Красивое лиловое платье, or the Красивое черное платье.

Defeat the trio of Crown Chemical Co. apothecaries in Shadowfang Keep.

Крепкая любовь is the achievement you earn when you defeat Аптекарь Хаммел and his two apothecaries in Shadowfang Keep. There is no particular reward for this beyond what you can get from their drops. But best of luck getting that elusive "Сердцеед" X-45 drop!

The reliability and quality control in this so-called guide is really disappointing. You basically slapped new dates on the event and then said "Okay readers, this is officially updated for 2026!" when it blatantly is not, in both large and small ways.

What really gets me is the lie to the readers is completely unnecessary. If you had just said "this holiday hasn't had a major update lately, so we've reposted our guide from two years ago for your convenience. Please discuss any new information in the comments!" you'd probably get almost the same number of pageviews for your (ever-churning, CPU-spiking-every-time-you-open-a-page) ad machine. The broken links would still look kind of sloppy, but at least you wouldn't be claiming anyone had actually read through the page when they clearly hadn't. So why? Does the author get some kind of fee for this "update" and think "cool, a little cash for 1 minute of work rubber stamping the old article"? I don't get the point. If you're going to update it, then update it. If you're not, then don't change the "updated on" dateline.

Just to be clear, multiple issues in this "guide" make it clear it was written for WotLK classic. There's no sign whatsoever it received any updates at all in the last 2 expansions, aside from the start/end dates.

The most actually-screwing-with-your-readers fail is the Букет красных роз/Букет черных роз. You're literally sending us to dungeons that do not have the thing. Not only is this a waste of time for anyone, but it's hugely disruptive to players who read this guide and thought "cool, just need to get my alt into Northrend dungeon queue and they'll be able to grab the achieve this year". The roses were moved to new dungeons in Cata - so not just blowing off the update 1 year, but 2 in a row, nice. (Based on comments in the bouquet pages, it seems that normal Stonecore is a popular choice to solo.) If you're a "professional content creator" creating the guide, then do the research and confirm the new set of bosses with the drop. If you're going to rely on snippets of information from user reports, THAT'S FINE TOO, but don't claim some expert is actually standing behind the info.

Let's talk broken links. This should be the most blatant sign for anyone even pretending to proofread the article for the new year. Several achieves were merged into dual-faction form, invalidating one of the two old links. So a bunch of yours are broken because you just left in whichever one you grabbed two years ago. Which, again, is right in front of your face when you look at the article. You also left the direct statement that "each faction has their own achievement" in the text when it's not true anymore.

Furthermore Подарок для Вождя seems to be displayed in one of its more modern forms, "A Gift for the Emissary to Orgrimmar". It actually links to some kind of PTR version of the quest? It has the right quest ID, but something is botched in choosing which one to display. This one might've been broken for MORE than 3 years for all I know.

You're also missing any mention of Конец Королевской компании at all. Gosh, how could you have missed a whole daily that contributes to the holiday currency! Could it be because it was added in Cata and nobody has updated this since WotLK? Anyway, this quest has an interesting different-version-in-a-different-location-for-every-10-character-levels structure, and of course none of that is in the guide. Which, you know, is fine because at least it's easy to discover in-game, but...sigh.

Related, it states "you can get 33x Знак любви per day from quests". I'm not clear if this number was EVER accurate since I'm not sure where the 3 comes from, but it doesn't seem to be now. You can get 20 from Чудесный браслет-оберег turnins, 5 from one of the "product sample" dailies, and 5 from Конец Королевской компании. The boss also gives 5-10 per day. So the number for low-level characters is 30 per day, and 35-40 for characters high enough to run the boss. It's possibly I really am missing some 3x Знак любви quest somewhere, but I'd still think you'd've given a full total for max level characters somewhere, so forgive me for not feeling that you've earned the benefit of the doubt.

You state the questline leads to Засланный шпион, but that quest isn't available anymore. Based on comments from the OG expansions, it probably wasn't available in Cata either when they reshuffled how dungeon breadcrumbs work. I know, how could a guide author figure out this kind of thing when Wowhead's own auto-generated data doesn't list that quest as obsolete? Seems crazy, but maybe RUNNING THE CONTENT just ONE TIME in the year for which you're "updating the guide"!

Related: The Опасная любовь section says access to Аптекарь Хаммел needs to be unlocked by the questline. It doesn't. It did in WotLK. It didn't in Cata.

Пожалей влюбленного: You say you need to be in a raid to enter Naxx. You don't.

Вам одиноко?: You basically say you can do this in SW or Org. You can't. Luckily the actual achievement text does say Dalaran, but I wonder how many readers wasted time and chocolates trying this in the wrong city.

I'm just piling on now, but several bits of random prose scream "lol this text is two expansions old" too even if there's no direct bad info.

"Players of previous Classic versions will find a lot of changes..." was obviously written for the WotLK audience when there WERE a lot of changes.
"The complicated Gift Collections, which were being gathered and presented to the respective faction leaders, have received a complete overhaul." Yeah this is very old news.
Пригоршня любви: "The best place to complete this quest is in Dalaran". Questionable, and almost certainly written when Dalaran was the max level hub. (Darkmoon Faire is really the best bet for this kind of thing, running every other week on Classic.)

Оберег разбитого сердца et al. "The versions below are item level 480; however, it is expected these will be updated." I mean come on. I guess I have to give props for actually admitting you're just being lazy here. Doesn't seem that hard to just run the boss and see what the new stats are.

I won't even bring up that the header for the Achievements section seems to be one paragraph too low, cutting the overview of the achievement structure in half, since that's probably just poor editing rather than failure-to-update.

Again: I'm not mad you didn't thoroughly re-research every aspect of this holiday this year. I'm mad you SAID you did, when you blatantly didn't even bother reading through the thing. Just don't ****ing lie to your readers.
