Not surprising, no one is actually expecting a WoD Classic release.
Those weapons were on a vendor during Throne of Thunder PTR but hardly anybody noticed it.
This is 20 day old news and was already stated by blizzard to be a mistake by a single dev that was working on stuff when the the ptr build was pushed to live ptr 20 days ago........
No WoD confirmed.
WoD ain't happening.
I'm honestly surprised they're not doing a WoD Classic release just to sell bundles and milk the retail players so they can get +1's on their collections
WoD Classic is needed so we get to Legion Classic.
I can't wait for Shadowlands Classic. It's my favorite expansion!

I'm surprised that they introduce this now. They put in the Weapons and say there will be wod.Why put then the weapons in in now? Doesn't make sense. It would make sense if they put in theweapons now making no wod and merge. putting in the weapons is wod exclusive content there intoMoP ongoing. The contradiction is very obvious.
Here is what actually happened. Back during MoP those Weapons where implemented into the Game. But only as the Placeholders you see in the Picture. They had no Model and where never obtainable during that Time. Later they finished them and put them as rewards in the WoD Challenge Mode. With the first PTR Update someone put them in the Inventory of the Vendor because they wanted to fill in more Stuff for People to buy. Not realizing that those Weapons are not finished. Just one Patch later they removed them again.Wowhead seems not to fact check their News. Since this is already weeks old by now. This does not mean WoD is not happening.
