YES. Can't tell if this is Microsoft or AI Slop.
Getting close to disabling the wowhead feed in my guilds discord with these "Is the game secretly bad and not good?" articles 2x a day. Please give us a filter for the discord bot to actual news if you're going to fill the site with this.
Casual content in a game mostly full of casuals? How dare they cater to their larger player base, it must be all about the 1%.
I assumed different ideas are being tested or something, but when your a collector like me that wants everything its a bit over the top yes.
Stop ai vibe posting Reddit tier nonsense. Casual players keep the game alive and there’s plenty of diminishing returns for the hardcore crowd to grind.
if it doesnt impact player power, who cares ? casual can just have fun their way, I just wish they were also spending more ressource on other content, but I dont think doing less casual thing would do anything as it is probably separate team working on like raid / m+ / pvp / casual content etc
I'd rather them try lots of little things and see what sticks, then develop that out further compared to getting very little at all. The real question is, is wowhead going overboard with the articles they put out?
Holy hell you guys are exhausting. Literally twice a day if not more yearning for the mines of Warlords of Draenor.
Speedrunning clickbait engagement. Does the Wowhead news team not have any oversight anymore? It's fine to discuss topics that might be controversial within the context of the game, opinions differ after all. But arguing that content aimed at a particular part of the playerbase isn't a valid part of the game is crazy.
People will treat this question like a joke, but if blizzard doesn't see the engagement they want, this kind of stuff will be less of a priority in the future.
Finally, as a non collecting ai sparkle player 90% of the content in this game is useless
How dare the game populated by millions of different people has content for everyone. What a barbarity, who could dare.
Couldn't agree more!
No!@#$ off with the ragebait
doing better requires engaging with player feedback instead of stubbornly trying to convince everyone with,"no, it's good content, actually. you will like it and we are adding more of it".edit: a lot of people never grew up reading magazines or just news sites. content like this is normal. if you dont like it, dont engage. you also dont need to tell everyone you are leaving. this isnt an airport.
It's not a problem that it's not for player power, the problem is that it's not fun either.
is WOWhead going overboard with the useless articles to generate add revenue?yes, yes they are
