Getting druid flightform - defending broken isles bug

Hey!
Been trying to solve this for days now. I'm on my way to unlock the flight form that came for druids in legion. I'm stuck on the quest "defending broken isles", where I'm supposed to defend against an invasion.
I've both tried defending on the broken shore, and also on other invasions on the broken isles, but nothing helps my progress.
Can anyone help?

Ok, what do you mean exactly by that?
Because what is required by the quest is to complete the associated quest of a major Legion Assault, where a zone has
this icon
on the Broken Isles continent map.
They start every 19.5 hours and last for 6. You can track when the next one is happening on the Wowhead frontpage. There's actually one going on for EU right now, for 4 more hours.
What you specifically need to do is enter the zone, you automatically get a quest to complete 4 World Quests in that zone, and after that, you get a short followup questline, which culminates in a scenario to defeat the Assault Commander. Killing that one should complete
