This would be rather handy for agility users while leveling. You're not likely to go more than 2 minutes without a kill whether quest grinding or in dungeons. Of course for raiding it's rather useless, but then, this isn't intended for that. Looking forward to seeing where it comes from.

This is one of the Pandaria Treasures. It's a like a rare NPC spawn... without the actual NPC spawning.

Note that this is in an underwater cavern beneath the hill the coordinates lead you to, not on top of the hill above ground!

The buff you get is Bloodseeker's Fury, besides giving stated agility it makes you grow a bit and turn red, like The Beast Within
Currently you don't lose it if you unequip trinket, might get changed later.

Could REALLY stand for a screen shot of exactly where in the cave this spawns. I have found a great number of artifacts but this one eludes me, and every time I go in the cave I wonder if I'm somehow not looking in the exact right place...

Well. I *finally* got this item, 17 in my 20 for "Lost & Found", and can I say... what a complete useless piece of junk this is. Unlike most of the L&F items it is not BoA, so you cannot send it to a leveling character. MOST players that are in Dread Wastes are already level 90, 89 at the lowest, so this item being usable at level 86 is a slap in the face. The buff doesn't proc for level 90 because it requires a kill on something that gives experience. Useless item, by and large.

I got this on 11/21/2012 on my lv90 Rogue and it does indeed proc for a lv90, granted you do not gain exp... you still get the credit as long as its the killing blow for this. I use it for my dailies because the extra 800 Agi is a very nice addition when running around

Actually camping this? Make yourself at home with a few facts:

- Normal (and that's pretty fast nowadays) spawn rate on the mobs inside, a good resource for the likes of gold, cloth, Motes of Harmony and random greens.
- Miners rejoice. A mining node spawns inside, on the equally 'normal' spawn rate.
- Still after Nat's Hat? The Mimic Octopus can be fished up from within the cave.

Something to keep you busy at least.

Just looted this with my Lvl89 Toon. Rewarded 860k xp (rested&guild perk), so seems to depend on charlevel.

Before learning that this was in the underwater cavern, I used to fly to the mound above the cavern, at the same co-ords. On the very top of the mound there is usually a red flower growing, I noticed that sometimes the red flower is missing and it was when it was missing that I found the item in the cave below...maybe something to it....maybe not. Happy hunting!

There is currently a bug with this item.

When you get the buff you grow a little bit, for a Tauren that means you can't enter most doorways even though it seems like you should be able to (like when you are in druid cat form).

I noticed that as mentioned this item is BOP not BOA like many of the other treasures. In working on the achievement I looted this item simply because i found it while on my Death Knight. Obviously agility is of little use to him and he has no need for the item.

What worries me is that I can now no longer see the item on my fresh lvl 90 monk who it would be useful for and also can not send the one i have on my DK over to my monk due to the BOP status. Can anyone else confirm if this is a 1 time loot-able item per account? I did see someone come in and loot it while i was inside fishing and the player confirmed that he looted it though i could not see it.

EDIT: I submitted a ticket and a GM mailed me the item noting that I was flagged for completion. He didnt confirm or deny that it bugged or not but they did send the item.

I looted this on my hunter at 5pm server. I got the cogwheel and the item despawned without showing up in my inventory. A gm informed me that generally when this happens, your toon gets flagged and receives the item as restoration. They told me there is no record of me looting it. So, I logged back in every half hour till 5 hours later (thx to icebaybee323 comment) and bam there it was again. I looted it again but decided to screen shot the loot window just in case I don't get flagged again, but the item showed up in my inventory on the 2nd time I looted it.

So, if you are camping one of these make sure you record your window via screen shot or stream or be ready to loot it again on the next respawn.

i have a question here , i looted this on my lvl90 DK when he is doing the paragon quest. then i log my lvl88 hunter and camp there, but never seen it spawn , can anyone confirm if i have to be lvl90 to see this item in the cave. i did loot other BoA on lower lvl alts , such as Swarmkeeper's Medallion on my lvl87 paladin , but that cave is a quest area, maybe i get phase out ?

confirmed , i finally find it on my lvl86 rogue after 2 days camp

Ok this little gem resides in cave based the Dread Wastes behind the heart of fear (so on the coast line) on left hand corner on the cliff; so if you are looking at your map where the heart of fear is, the cave is on the corner of the cliff edge. Also the same place where the murk scale slayers are and Skeer the Bloodseeker for a questline. the coordinates are 25, 54.
I have put up some pictures showing the location from over the sea with the cave below the cliff edge, under water has a shark shaped mouth; with the The Heart of fear just in the background.

Confirm this is lootable at lvl 86! Stealthed into the cave with my rogue at the end of the day just to see if it's even possible. Went there through Krasarang Wilds... The item wasn't there at that time so I logged out. Next morning I logged in it was there! Unstealthed and looted it. The two dudes fighting each other did not(!) attack me.

Make sure you have the opportunity to actually loot the item, I just somehow managed to open the object and not receive it despite having auto-loot enabled, then a Saurok attacked me and I ran and vanished, only to notice that neither had I looted the item, nor was the object still visible to me... opening the object triggers the flag, so I can't loot it anymore... will try a ticket.

edit: A nice GM sent me the item :) I merely expected that they'd reset the quest flag so I could camp it again.

@Nulgar I just had the same thing happen to me. The main difference is that the GM told me that they could not restore the item because it's not possible to see if it's flagged or something. Because it's not mob loot. Or something. The thing is, she told me they can't restore that kind of item, since they are not flagged, and that I should camp the trinket again because my char will be able to see it.

And here I am... Waiting for it to respawn. Again.

I decided to camp this one on my druid stealthed in the back where it spawns. The two mobs were not fighting, which concerned me because if it spawned, they would attack. Well didn't have to worry, because as soon as it spawned (waited 10 mins, not bad!) they started fighting. Thought I'd share my story. I liked how they started fighting as soon as it spawned, coincidence? Probably, but all the same!

Was the last object I needed for Relic Hunter as well.

This trinket is easily optainable on a level 85 rogue.
Sapping the guy to the left of the fire (When facing the entrance), and killing the other guy. It takes roughly 3 minutes for him to respawn.

Getting there without dying is easy. Buy a couple Elixir of Water Walking, and just follow the shore down to the entrance.
Gl to people that want the item while leveling!

Edit: Just optained it on my 85 rogue, and it gave me 305,306 exp while looting it (Human, rested with 5% guild perk).
And I can confirm it's optainable on more than 1 char pr. acc, as I've completed the Is Another Man's Treasure achievement on my main.

I have been camping with my level 88 druid now for almost 6 hours and still haven't seen the container spawn. I'm not sure what the respawn time is on the container, but so far nothing after 6 hours. I haven't moved from the spot nor have I been killed.

Does anyone know exactly the respawn timer on the container? Or if the container is bugged or if they took it out of the game?

EDIT: After 6 hours I finally got the container to spawn. It's roughly 5-6 hours respawn time.

FYI; I tried to loot this on my level 83 rogue today however the item didn't appear.

The item was visible to my friend and my other characters when I re-logged however my 83 rogue (Desipite seeing my friends character) couldn't see the container for this trinket.

Conclusion; There is a level requirement to LOOT this item. I'm assuming it's 85.

Entrance into the Muckscale Grotto cave is underwater in the Muckscale Shallows at coords 25.6, 54.3.

Just a note about your appearance while using this: killing enemies causes the buff to stack and you to be drenched in blood, giving you a red appearance. You also grow in size as the stacks increase.

I've been camping this with my level 86 hunter now for a few hours. I read some posts below and someone said they looted this on another character, and tried looting it on another character, but it said they were flagged? Has this been fixed or is it still a bug and am I wasting my time camping for it or should I put a ticket in for it? My druid has looted it, but a long time ago.

I went into the grotto which has an underwater entrance. its kinda tricky because there is a ledge underwater when you reach the end of the land but if you keep going it drops off again and becomes deeper and there is a circular entrance against the wall, when you go in you will find about six enemies which are pretty easy if you have decent gear but if your unprepared i would try to lure them into the water one by one. after they are killed you go to the back wall and the chitin is on the ground near the back wall not far from the fire. I hope this isn/t too confusing and is able to help you, some people say that it was in the entrance but that's not where i found i found it in the back so there may be more than one spawn point or they are just incorrect. Good Luck the coords are 25:50
PS its kinda funny because i was actually looking for Blade of the Prime which is not far from the location of this item,

I found this trinket after camping it for a few days. You can see the trinket sparkle from the left front corner of the cave entrance. It is behind the fire on the back right side on the ground. Too bad it is not BOA.
