Sounds like an item from the end of a quest line involving The Anglers, or bought as a reputation reward from The Anglers themselves.

This item is indeed located right behind Uncle Deming. I didn't take a screenshot in my excitement, but when it is spawned, it looked like a fishing pole or stick located right behind him. It glitteres like a loot kill and if the npc fell backwards, he would fall on it. Hope this helps.

Exactly as everyone has said, and as the screenshot indicates. This spawns literally right behind Uncle Demming.

Found it on US-Thunderhorn today at 11:35AM Central.

And does anyone know if you're able to see these items again after you've looted them on any other character? Not like it would honestly matter since they're BoA but I wanted to know if they all share a spawn timer or something with the rares in the same zone, similar to some of the rare mobs in previous expacs.

First time i went to see if it was their and it was. Just a question after i looted the item it appeared in my bags as no name and required level 1 is this supposed to happen?

I found the spear and was having an issue looting it. I was only able to target Uncle Deming. I tried /reload and it did nothing.

I completely logged out, and logged back in. When you hover over the spear, your mouse will turn into a gear. Logging out worked and fixed the problem.

Sprite's Cloth Chest (3:37am 10/31/12 Found within the Pranksters' Hollow cave in Eastern Kun-Lai Summit. You can find the location easily by finding the Needle Sprite's outside the cave. The chest is located at the very end of the cave near the two Perma-Dead sprites.

Nov. 1, 2012 11:30 PM spear spawned and was looted no problems. I will continue to camp to give a proper respawn time.
