lol I'm sure this'll change but as of 6/19/12 this weapon has no weapon dmg whatsoever and over 5000 str.... get some weapon dmg on it and SIGN ME UP! Str ftw!

A great axe for Arms Warriors that are near the expertise and hit cap (or willing to trade a couple of points) for the crit and mastery. Also it's the same ilvl as the 2h weapons found in Heroics, so it might be the one of the better choices leading up to the raids.

On a personal note, when I saw 'Masterwork' it brought me back to the good ol' days of Weaponsmithing back in BC

The only reason I'll be making any of these is to make money. While it is a very nice weapon and has great itemization for arms warriors and ret paladins, the Warmace of Taran Zhu has the same secondary stats on it and is free, provided you run Shado Pan Monastery until it drops. It's also a mace, which gives you the racial expertise bonus if you're a human, which my paladin and warrior are. And if you're a death knight or a fury warrior, there are 2h weapons with better itemization, the Gravetouch Greatsword and Goresoaked Headreaper are both superior for fury warriors and the Gleaming Ravager and Mograine's Immaculate Might are better for death knights, whether Unholy or 2h Frost (although dual wielding is still preferable for frost) All that said, you'll still probably be able to make a decent profit off of this weapon in the AH as it has at least one useful secondary stat per strength dps class/spec.

You get much better weapons from heroic dungeons, so don't use this, sell it! I made one, was gonna use it but put it in the auction house instead and ended up making 10k.

Just wanted to point out this has the EXACT same stats as Goresoaked Headreaper and from my luck dropped twice after 3-4 encounters with Rattlegore. It's also visible on your back but not the greatest model as the "blades" look more like carved rocks. Of course rolling as fury had to have two as this is Heroic Dungeon BiS for Orc fury warriors, not including Mogu'Dar, Blade of the Thousand Slaves (which is a lowlow drop from Xin the Weaponmaster).

This weapon is indeed invisible for me too when sheathed. It looks like it's meant to go on the back like other 2-Handers but then it just disapears. However, transmogging will resolve this cosmetic problem.

well, don't try to upgrade it on any other character, except the one where you want to equip it. it will become soulbound.

Requires Blacksmithing 575, 15 Ghost Iron Bars, 5 Spirits of Harmony and 40 Kyparite. Bought from Ambersmith Zikk requires Honored With the Klaxxi.

Best Pre-Raid 2 handed Axe you can get. Crit and Mastery instead of Hit and Expertise or Haste... Obviously best choice for Orcs with Expertise buff.
