They do not stack. The procs from both the Anvil and the Mirror of Truth are called "Reflection of Torment".

In 2 - 10 minute very baseline test I turned auto attack on a lvl 80 target dummy, at first with only the anvil, then with both the anvil and the mirror, and counted how many times Reflection of Torment was up in that 10 minute period.

No debuffs were on the target dummy except Vindication (2/2) and my own ret aura. I'm at about ~30% crit unbuffed and with only 79 hit in mostly all PVP gear (hatefull shoulders, boots, gaunts/deadly chest/ savage helm)

Anvil alone - 8 procs in 10 minutes, ~194 swings (Armageddon with atk speed of 3.09)
Anvil with Mirror - 8 procs in 10 minutes, ~194 swings (^ same)

So no, it doesn't seem increasingly effective in terms of the AP buff to have both on at the same time in the stead of your resil trinket. What you do with that, I suppose, is up to you.

Yes I know this isn't the best test in the world since it was white damage only, so there are obviously numerous variables... but as you can see out of 194 regular melee swings the amount of time the proc was up did not change. It might if you throw specials in and they crit a lot, but in a 10 minute time span (much longer than most any boss fight) it seems pretty obvious what the score is. I might try specials out later, but I doubt it'll matter.

I'd like to point out that this (based on data here and on mmo-champion.com) procs off of HITS while the Mirror of Truth procs off of CRITS, and while for melees with fast attack speeds and/or high crit, this will make no difference, the "on hit" rather than "on crit" will certainly make a difference for a class with a slow attack speed.

Additionally, this is better in terms of PvP as one would rather where this (as it has resilience) over the Mirror anyway when coupled with the PvP trinket (which also has resilience).

Lastly, I don't think that the testing done by Sleiphnir was sufficient to state that equipping both would not be beneficial over another trinket. His slow attack speed may diminish the value of stacking these in that way. I will be getting both (as I have the mirror currently and I'll be looking at this as a PvP upgrade) and I will test on live and report back when I have data (feral druid, 43% crit and hit capped, should make testing a little more easy since my crit is higher, I swing faster than 1/sec, and I'll never miss, thus improving the proc rate of each).

I just got this trinket about an hour ago then tested in on the combat dummies in IF while using Mirror of Truth. Both trinkets do proc the same buff, as previously listed, so they don't stack.

I beat on the dummy for about 5 minutes, both white and yellow dmg. Also, I am hit capped for pvp. My addon said the buff procced 1.2 times per minute and its uptime was around 21%. As if that wasn't interesting enough, the fastest CD between procs was 20s. I'll do further testing and reply back on future findings.

I will say if the above stats are accurate, this is the best 2 trinkets for any human physical dps class for pvp purposes.

Initial tests seems to show that using both this and mirror of truth which has an identical proc effect does in fact double the times it procs, though it does not stack.

Running 3 five minute tests showed that when using one of them I got an average proc rate of once per minute, while using both procced around twice a minute if not slightly more than that.

Can i just ask if this item is bugged on the armory, i have the item equipped, ive used be.imba.hu to make sure the item has updated and it has, but when i open the armory and search my charecter it says i have no trinket : /. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

I'm having almost the same problem, it appears that it doesn't yet have a icon on Armory, and since be.imba fetches data over Armory it also doesn't have there. Try mousing over the empty spot and you'll see the tooltip.

30 Min test with ONLY Mirror of Truth, semi-well geared 80 Paladin, 3.4 Speed Weapon (Hasted to 3.12), Ret Aura, Blessing of Might, 32% Crit
Auto, Judge, CS, DS, SotM
18 procs, lowest time between procs 53 seconds
Mirror seems to only proc on ranged and melee attacks, which means (I think) that only autoattack, CS, and DS *and Judgement (Possibly SotM but I can't think of a way to distinguish between it and the melee hit other than catching a SotM that crit on a white hit that didn't) could proc it. This might lower the expected uptime for Ret Paladins (Possibly DK's and Enh Shamans as well?). For this test, the trinket was only worth 106 AP and 84 crit average. Not bad, but not the 166 AP and 84 crit one might expect.

Since people are reporting more buff uptime when using both Mirror and Anvil, and buff refreshes, it seems like the trinkets do not share an internal CD. So having both is better than having just 1, as long as they don't proc too close together. Just be aware that you won't get 2 +1000 AP buffs, you'll just get a refresh if they both proc.

As a human the situation brought about with the new racial 'Every Man For Himself' has been well and truly solved with the 2 trinkets 'Anvil of Titans' and 'Darkmoon Card: Berserker!' now I definately don't need to have a pvp trinket for resilience alone.

The buff is better than it appears at the first glance. You can time you cooldowns (holy wrath, not sure about other classes) when it procs for some huge crits.

I don't think ive read anyone say this yet, but i might just be obvious. The two trinkets don't stack, yes, but I don't think they have the same internal c/d, right? If so, having both the trinkets should increase the amount of proc's you get? Right? Giving you a hopefully more steady/constant flow of bonus attack power.

Also, Crit and Resil is needed for pvp. Each trinket gives one of those, of course. So, having both of the trinkets, if my above statement is correct, would be pretty advantageous.

Confirmed 3.0.9 this does not stack with Mirror of Truth, however refreshes the buff.

After a little bit of looking. If you are looking for a good tanking trink this does a good job along with the gosmer. The one with defense is nice but this one will allow you to if already defense caped be hit not as hard because of the resilience also the 1000 ap really helps threat gen.

I ran several 10 min tests under similar conditions to Garion's last test, but with only 23% ish crit.

Anvil equipped worked out to about 1ppm.
Mirror and Anvil equipped worked out to anywhere between 1.2 and 1.5ppm (or an additional 41-90ap).

Imo, stacking these trinkets is probably not worth it unless you've got 30% crit or a high attack speed.

Mirror procs 'Reflection of torment'
This will be NICE for a rogue with slice 'n dice having the trinkets stacking..
Also, Shamans and feral Druids are the classes with most crit % , so i bought mirror & anvil for my enh shaman and works really fine, expecially in PvP.

42% crit cat here, as confirmed the buff does not stack but they do NOT share the same internal cooldown, allowing you to have 1000AP for UP TO 20sec out of every 45sec, less if you get unluck and have one refresh the other in the first 10sec of the fight. this is a nice addition to Mirror and probably beats out most blue dps trinkets.

Well this was just me, I and myself wondering about would'nt The Anvil proc faster after the 45 seconds ICD wore off, faster than Mirror of Truth that is, because of it being on hit and Mirror being on crit? would love to see some math on that.
