This is basically increasing the efficiency of lifebloom by 11%, by adding an extra tick from 9 to 10 seconds. Extremely good mana efficiency

I'm assuming however that the bloom will also come a second later. Not that it matters that much in most cases.

~~This glyph is likely to become weaker with patch 3.1, as the mana cost is going to double and the act of Lifebloom blooming will refund mana.~~

I think I spoke too soon.

This helps very well in conjunction with Glyph of Nourish.

In Patch 3.3.5, this was Glyph of Lifebloom (Major) - Increases the duration of Lifebloom by 1 sec.

In Patch 4.0.1, it has been changed to Glyph of Lifebloom (Prime) - Increases the critical effect chance of your Lifebloom by 10%.

It would appear to increase the crit chance of tick. With a run thru a heroic VP (1954 ticks) I had a base crit chance of 14.55%. Recount shows 25.9% (507) crit.

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.

OLD: Glyph of Lifebloom
Increases the critical effect chance of your Lifebloom by 10%.

NEW: Glyph of Lifebloom
Casting Lifebloom on a new target grants that target as many applications as the old target had. This effect will not occur while in Tree of Life Form, or when Lifebloom has less than 2 sec remaining.

This is an amazing and long-overdue bonus for druids. The glyph functions exactly as it says - if you have three stacks of Lifebloom rolling on a main tank, and a tank switch is performed, you only need to cast Lifebloom once on the off tank to transfer all three stacks.

It does not remain active in Tree of Life (now activated via the Incarnation talent as of 5.0.4), thus NOT allowing you to cast multiple three-stack Lifeblooms on everyone while in that form.

In 5.4 this will be changed again. Placing a Wild Mushroom will immediately cause efflorescence to tick around it for the full duration of the mushroom(5 minutes). Swiftmend will no longer proc efflorescence at all, and will heal for an additional 20%.

Also remember that in 5.4 resto druids will only have one mushroom instead of 3(it will have the strength of 3 mushrooms from the previous version of the spell).

More or less mandatory at the moment as it lets you get 100% uptime on Efflorescence, which adds up to a massive amount of healing. It also allows you to utilize Soul of the Forest better, as you can save Swiftmend for when Wild Growth comes off cooldown rather than having to use it immediately to keep Efflorescence up. Getting 20% more healing on Swiftmend is just a nice little bonus.

Expect this glyph's effect to be baseline with patch 6.0. It's is a classic case of Blizzard trying out a new mechanic in the form of a glyph, and it's been very well received by the resto druid community.

It's been confirmed by Blizzard that this glyph's effect will indeed be made baseline in patch 6.0. Resto druids rejoice!
