I can see this being the source of so many trolls:
Imagine adding this glyph to a warrior tank without him knowing, and then shouting at him for not holding any threat :P

On a serious note, if protection damage output can be raised significantly enough to provide competitive DPS with other classes, we might start seen warriors go that route in raids/heroics/challange runs.

I can see this coming in handy for moments where a Warrior needs to have that constant damage reducing effect, but can't afford to have the extra threat that comes with it, though it will pretty much put a damper on their Rage and thus their DPS.

Or maybe it's just for those of us who just really like Shield Bashing something. You have to admit, there is something... enjoyable about taking that hunk of whatever strapped to your arm and shoving it in something's face.

I would like to see something like this for Death Knight Blood spec. I love the survivability of the spec, the dps isn't too low, but the extra threat sucks if you aren't a tank.

For low level dungeon runs, I can see this being useful. protection warriors dps in the lower levels is pretty high, and if you rather dps instead of tanking as protection, this can keep you from generating too much threat.

But otherwise in high damage periods I usually prever berserker stance, and this has no use in battle grounds. Still might come in handy if you want to avoid pulling off the tank. I just can't imagine a tank in a raid losing aggro if you turn this on for just a few seconds.

Not many MINOR glyphs are useful for DPS Warriors.. This is FAR better than eg: Setting ur feet on fire, when charging.. :)

I really don't see much use for this glyph. I never switch stances on my dps warrior. There's plenty of damage reduction cd's to handle moments when you might think of switching to def stance. If you did need to switch to def to handle some damage, the tank would have to be pretty lame to lose threat to you with their vengeance / threat already built up. I can see the point that there aren't any other glyphs that provide anything but vanity effects, but I'll take my fire charge over this.

This is an excellent glyph for damage moments that your Tank/Healer cannot compensate for, example moments being Galakras, Malkork, Thok and when Garrosh does his Whirlwind attacks. Once those uncontrolled damage phases are dealt with, switch to Battle Stance and continue as normal, excellent glyph!
