Always last to know these things, just figured out that there's fishing and cooking dailies in Undercity too, but they only show up if you haven't done the Orgrimmar ones that day. Not sure if there are versions of the achievements or if they have these in other cities yet...

/edit Yes! As of 4.1, There are 5 new fishing dailies in UC and T-Bluff, and 5 new cooking dailies in each too.

Make sure you are actually in the Brightwater Lake zone. If you fish on the east side of the island, you may be in Gunther's Retreat. Even though it's essentially the same water, and you're standing in the blue quest area, you will not catch the Pike if your zone says Gunther's Retreat.

The bait mentioned in the quest is in the Corpse Worm Mound.
You don't enter the main building, and it is near the moat.

It's worth noting that the Day of the Dead presents a bug that renders this quest impossible to complete. I picked up Like Pike? on the Day of the Dead and could not click on the graves to retrieve the worm. However, the next day when the Day of the Dead was over, the graves became click-able again and I was able to complete the quest as normal.

I could not equip the worm to my fishing pole, does anyone know why?

I'm having exactly the same problemas Lalaana. No matter how I try I can't equip the worm to the pole... It must be bugged.
Utterly annoying though.

Very wierd, two weeks waiting on this quest and it hasn't popped up.

I couldn't get it to work and gave up and just did some fishing. I added a bobble and then without realizing until later that the worm was attached... not sure what I did beyond that.

i didnt realize you had to click the worm to use it and actually put it on the fishin pole in your charater info :/ once i did that i got it after 3 tries

You will find the Corpse Worm Mound at the exit of Undercity (were the blue is on the surface), and then you will have to go to the lake north of that to catch the Corpse-Fed Pike.

Ps. remember to use the Corpse Worm Mound on your fishing pole!

Go out into the ruins, this is where you enter the Undercity, out in the courtyard there are sparkling graves, click on grave and pick up worm, go to Brightwater Lake, attach fishing pole, open bags and character info, right click on worm then go over to your fishing pole in your character info and click it to your pole. It doesn't attach like most bait. Hope this helps!

To complete this quest you must (to my knowledge at least) have a fishing pole. The act of attacking the lure (grave worm in this case) adds a buff to your character allowing them to catch the pike. You don't actually need to use THAT pole or any pole at all to do the catching.

It's also worth noting the worm adds a temporary 10 mint +25 fishing enchant on the pole. This could be useful to characters who just start out fishing and don't want to pay for lures.

Yeah, it has to be fully equipped... not just clicking the worm then clicking the fishing skill... Just to reiterate what has been posted.

After leveling my fishing for 80 points I equipped the pole and first try BOOM!

Since the arrival of patch 5.0.4, you no longer need to equip a Fishing Pole to use Fishing skill.

Though, you'll be needing one for this quest. Once you catch the Corpse Worm Bait, that can be found right outside Undercity (coord: 65,15), you'll need to equip the worm to a pole, clicking with the right button on the worm an then left click on the pole. Lizbeth Cromwell sells one, right beside the quest giver.

The silly thing is, once you have the Corpse Worm Bait aura (lasts 10 min), it's not necessary to actually equip the fishing pole to your character. Just cast Fishing when you get to the lake (Tirisfal Glade, coord: 67,51) and you'll be fine. I caught my Corpse-Fed Pike on my 5th try.

Gunther's Retreat in the middle of Brigh!@#$er Lake is an acceptable fishing place. I hooked the Pike while fishing here.

This may be obvious to everyone, but in order to complete this quest, you must first buy a fishing rod if you don't have one. Normally, all you have to do is right click on the bait to get the enchanted fishing action. With the corpse worm, after you right click it, you then left click on the fishing rod to get the necessary enchantment to catch the pike.
