Looted this in my second raid reset on the PTR.
First raid reset I didn't get the right opera event so technically this dropped on the first attempt.

I put up a small video of the abilities if you want to check it out. Nothing incredibly interesting, but the pet is super cute imo!

One would really think this new rare pet would have a better last ability. Something more like him, perhaps one that would turn his opponent into a little girl?

Lil' Bad Wolf is taught from Spiky Collar and is looted from The Big Bad Wolf, which is one of the three available Opera Boss Encounters from the level 70 Burning Crusade raid Karazhan.

Lil' Bad Wolf together with other new pets added in patch 5.3 meets the requirement to complete which rewards Tito's Basket that teaches Tito.

This pet is going to be one of the most time-consuming pets required for Raiding with Leashes II: Attunement Edition

Why, you ask? Because there's a random chance for either The Crone (Wizard of Oz), Romulo & Julianne, or The Big Bad Wolf (Red Riding Hood) to be the boss that you will be facing for that week.

For those lucky hunters who managed to tame Garwal before Blizzard classified it as a Humanoid, I highly recommend changing your hunter's race to a Worgen. Just imagine a Worgen Hunter, with Garwal as your hunter pet, and a Lil' Bad Wolf as your companion!

So far I have managed to run 5 toons through kara. 3 of these 5 runs resulted in the red riding hood encounter. All three times dropped the pet. Even though this is still a small sample size that seems too good to be true based on my usual luck, so I'm hypothesizing that it is 100% drop rate as long as you get the right event. If you got this encounter and did not get the pet to drop, please add to the comments so we can see if this holds true.

I can't decide which breed would be the best for this guy's abilities.
The S/S breed would work well with Dodge and Pounce, but it would be redundant to have Claw with those two abilities, so I would use Counterstrike, but Counterstrike would work better with the P/P breed (and that was a run-on sentence!)...
Any thoughts on which breed would best fit this pet's abilities?

EDIT: Can anyone tell me what the base damage tooltip is for a level 25 P/P Claw vs. a level 25 S/S Pounce?

After many weeks of trying to farm for the P/P breed, I finally decided that the S/S breed that I had was the better choice. I named my Lil' Bad Wolf Monroe.

Looks like a speed wolf is gonna be the one to get, to better make use of dodge and pounce.

I suppose the attack one could use counter strike and howl.

As other mentioned it will be a pain to get the correct breed. RNG to get the event, RNG to get it to drop, RNG for the correct breed.

Last week i do the opera event with my 8 caracters, i got 8x Romulo and julianne. This week 8x Oz event with my caraters + 5x Romulo and julianne with my son carac.

This will likely be one of the more difficult to acquire of the raiding with leashes 2 pets just owing to the fact that you only have a one in three chance of getting the right boss in the opera event

Question:
The P/P breed would use the setup Counterstrike (To take advantage of being slow) Mangle (because Dodge is less useful when you're slow) and Howl (because Pounce is, again, less useful if you're slow)

This allows for REALLY HARD Counterstrikes. But... Counterstrike, being the ONLY damaging move in that setup, has a 2-turn cooldown? WHY? Tail Sweep (Which is actually more useful, since you only have to be slower, not actually take damage to activate its extra attack, so it still double-hits if the opponent buffs/shields/heals) has no cooldown. Pounce, which double-hits if you're FASTER, has no cooldown. So why the massive CD on Counterstrike?

Since people have not listed this, and others have merely speculated, Lil' Bad Wolf is taught by Collare con Punte which currently has an 11% drop rate from Lupo Cattivo during the Opera Event in Karazhan. Hope this helps :D

Different events for different raid locks. So if you have a bunch of alts, run them all. (ie I got Wizard of Oz on paladin, Romeo and Juliet on mage, same week).

I got two of this guy on the same day, and not really undestanding breeds I sold one on the AH. Luckily for me I kept a S/S one. When I started getting to all the more difficult world battles (spirits, bof) this S/S wolf became my go-to pet in almost every fight. Dodge (usually dodge twice due to speed), Howl, Claw, Claw, gg.

This is a pain to get as you have to battle the odds of getting the right "play" and having it drop. I've only had Lil red riding hood once on 6 alts with multiple runs and he didn't drop this. I finally wimped out and bought it on AH.

He is a fine little pet! The only disappointment is he doesn't commit to "howl" like the foxes do. They throw their heads back and let loose! This guy just kinda looks around like "who farted?"

I think I found a sure fire way to get the The Big Bad Wolf opera to spawn. The key lies in the fight with Moroes.

I found that if you kill his four named dinner guests that stand in front of him, BEFORE you kill Moroes (and you kill him before he vanishes), that will guarantee the Little Red Riding Hood opera.

I have been testing this for the past two weeks and I have consistently gotten the The Big Bad Wolf to spawn for me, so I think there just might be something to it.
