anyone wanna tell me what a jade tentacle has to do with deathwing? assuming thats who its reffering to in the description....

i mean it sounds like some conspiracy theory, like when nut jobs connect two completely unrelated things

Honestly, if we lost man-eating tentacles when the Worldbreaker changed the face of Azeroth, we have yet another reason to thank him. Keep in mind that his destruction broke the Flight Master monopoly on mounts and allowed flight in the Old World. Deathwing was the unsung hero of Cataclysm!

As for the pet itself, this is a crappy reward. Why? Because like Bronius says, the description is the same as Withers, and so is the move set and stats. They basically copied Withers and changed the animation, which feels lazy. The move set isn't bad, but come on Blizz. This is a reward pet for a big achievement. He deserves his own stats and his own moves!

Venting aside... you know... he still totally looks cool. But it's a shame they couldn't do more with him and make him unique.

5.2 EDIT: The description used to be "A solemn reminder of what was lost when the Worldbreaker changed the face of Azeroth." Since this, it has been updated to "Careful now, she can get a bit frisky sometimes!" The stats appear to have changed as well. We have been heard!
