One of the wild pets you can collect via the Pet Battle System. Found around The Dragon Wastes of Dragonblight, hanging around the dragon skeletons scattered in the area.

These hatchlings are flying around the dragon skeletons, but occasionally they will come to perch for a little while. They resemble the 'warty-faced buzzards' of the area, though unlike the greyish/bluish Dragonbone Condors, they are black-tipped white.

When clicked, they make quite a loud squawking-hissing sound.

These ugly little things are, as stated previously, normally found flying around the dragon bones. They are ugly as all get out, and they prolly stink. But they are pretty handy in a fight!

need to have a pet quality add-on on this one or a ton of patience.

this pet is sorta bugged compared to others i have tamed, had several with following HP:

1245 - green
1248 - green
1100-1148 - some white and some green
1155 - blue

If you're fighting these guys, consider sticking around and leveling your pets off them. The group at 65,53 is really close to stable master Risera so you can go from level 1 to 10 in 8 fights, or level 22 to 23 in just 5 battles.

These mobs are great for farming and collecting pets:
They spawn in groups and those groups are close together.
Stats lvl 22 (uncommon):
health: 1238
ap: 211
speed: 297 (198 after it lost its speedbuff)

Backup pets:
Arctic hare: Plenty of those around northrend but might as well farm a rare hare of dragonbone hatchlings (or any other less common wild pet)
Tundra Penguin: These penguins have a few spawns on their own. Seems better to farm them while searching for rare dragonbone hatchling
Strand Crab: Highest level of this wild pet. Doesn't have spawns of its own

Be prepared to grind out a rare. I've engaged over 100 and still have not found a rare one. Thankfully they spawn in clusters of 5 or 6 so they are very quick to engage, check rarity, and then fight/flee, depending on if you feel like leveling a pet or not.

Cleared out the first spot with out any luck of getting the rare...moved on to the next spot and caught myself a rare ^.^ didn't take to long ;)

Like many of the battle pets in World of Warcraft this pet shares a moveset with similar birds. There are in fact 17 pets that share the same six moves in three different permutations.

The Imperial Eagle Chick, Rustberg Gull, Sandy Petrel, Sea Gull, Tickbird Hatchling, and White Tickbird Hatchling all have the following moveset.

lv 2 Cyclone
lv 4 Hawk Eye
lv 10 Thrash
lv 15 Adrenaline Rush
lv 20 Lift-Off

The next set of birds is Blue Mini Jouster, Cockatiel, Dragonbone Hatchling, Fledgling Buzzard, Gold Mini Jouster, Green Wing Macaw, Hyacinth Macaw, Parrot, Polly, and Senegal. These ten keep the same six moves but rearrange the second, third and sixth. One major difference with this moveset is that it places your two big cooldown abilities on the same option.

Finally, the Jade Owl shares the same six moves in yet a third arrangement. This moveset swaps the second, third, fifth, and sixth moves from the first set. Essentially leaving you with the same moveset as the second. The only difference is of course in the leveling process as to which moves you have access to first. Once you have all six moves unlocked at 20 they are for all intents and purposes the same. The major difference here is that the Jade Owl is a magic pet.
