Lizard Hatchling has been spotted in Northern Stranglethorn Vale and The Cape of Stranglethorn.
Seen it in 3 different colours so far.
They look like a tiny version of these models. It's smaller then Warpstalker Hatchling who is also in the pet journal in MoP.
Might be one of the new wild pet's that is in the pet journal in MoP. Can't say for sure yet seeing the wild pet tracker doesn't work.

Getting an uncommon or rare Lizard Hatchling, as with all Battle Pets, isn't all a matter of luck. You can mouse over the Lizard Hatchling you're fighting and compare its stats to the ones I caught, listed below.

On the off-chance you are like me and want each pet type in all available colors...

I typed in lizard (battlepet search) and found the teal version of this "look" as a lizard exists only in STV. It's proved a pain to farm a teal.

Just today I rediscovered the Horny Toad looks exactly the same and comes in teal, what's more, I already had a rare, teal version of the horny toad. One less grind. It's also from a different pet family (aquatic rather than beast).

Just a heads up for those trying to "collect 'em all."

It also appears as a primary. I got mine at Mosh'Ogg Ogre Mound (65,43).

Almost all Lizards are clones, with the same moveset and even the same breeds available.

You get the best choice of colours with Spiny Lizard (red, purple, white, puke green) or Lizard Hatchling (purple, dark green, white).

Puke green is unique to the Spiny, and dark green is unique to the Hatchling. With three of each pokemon attainable, you can have all five colours using just these two species.

I found a rare Lizard Hatchling as a secondary pet to the Strand Crawlers by Venture Co Base Camp. I also looked through probably 20-30 Polly and Tree Pythons and never saw a single Lizard Hatchling. However, I did see some with Forest Spiderlings as mentioned above.
