Note: As of ptach 5.2, this pet's Stun Seed has been nerfed by 25% to 468 damage (down from 650).

Great pet for levelling, PVE, collecting other pets, Clockwork Gnome carnage and PvP. The Lasher is sort of like the Pally of Battle Pets.......Tank, DPS and Healer rolled into one.

A Crimson Lasher on a roll is fearsome.

Open with Stun Seed which after two turns hits for 468+ damage (at level 25).

Second round use Soothing Mists this heals for 109+ health (at level 25) for 5 rounds (this spell last the 5 turns for all frontline pets, even if the lasher is dead).

Third round hit with the Lash, this hits for 156 per hit. If the oppponent is faster, it usually gets three hits for 450+ damage.

After the opponent has their turn, the Stun Seed (468+ damage) comes into effect. You get 109+ health from healing mists.

Fourth round opponent is stunned and you can Lash them again for 300-450+ and get another 109+ health.

A good scenario in three rounds: 0+108+450+468+109+450+109=1694 (Damage & Healing); pre patch 5.2 this was 1900!

From then on, it's either Lashing, using the Stun Seed cooldown or setting up other pets with Healing Mists spell. I've quite often had the opportunity to use then next stun seed and Healing mists on the second of opponents pets. Then it's a matter of retiring the lasher.

It's also a great pet for collecting lower level pets. Use the lasher to clear the "trash pets" and then cast Soothing Mists to set up you lower level pet to chip away at the pet to be caged. 106 health per turn makes a big difference in the lower levels.

Downside it it only has 1400 health at lvl25 and has problems with aquatics, so choose your opponents carefully!

Well worth the 1050 gold once you have reputation with the Guardians of Hyjal.

Despite having the same moveset and breed id (#3, B/B) as the Ammen Vale Lashling, the Crimson Lasher has slightly more power, for slightly less HP.
