except it gets Repair instead of Swarm of Flies in its tier 3 slot and it doesn't take bonus damage from flyers.

it's still weird to me to put this guy up against flyers and not get chewed up.

This is currently the only pet that can use Cleansing Rain that isn't Aquatic. It is also the only pet that can use both Repair and Healing Wave. Whichever second slot ability you choose, this pet is useful in a healing/stalling team, since it lets you not be weakened by having multiple pets of the same type, which means if they have a flier, you can swap this in to avoid taking the extra damage.

I like to put it in a team with a Strand Crab with Surge and a Scourged Whelpling (Plagued Blood gives more healing, Dreadful Breath gives more damage during Cleansing Rain).

A surprisingly useful pet, as it lets you bring aquatic damage (anti-elemental) on a pet that's not aquatic (meaning you don't take extra damage from flying attacks). Useful against both the air and fire spirit tamers, as aquatic pets tend to get ripped apart by Cyclone before they even get a chance to do anything.

I can cage this at level one however while leveling it with the hopes of selling it for a few more gold, I find that I can no longer cage it to sell. It is now level 25, any suggestions would sure be appreciated. Maybe if I use a stone and make it a rare?
