the vendor in twilight highlands doesnt sell it for me anymore. any clues?

So I'm a little pissed about these items ATM. I patiently waited at the server login screen during the server reset this morning continuously trying to get in, when I did I logged onto my paladin who I had placed right at the vendor for these items. I did a /who and I was surprisingly the only person in the zone. I checked the vendor and to my amazement I see all of the limited buy items. I start clicking to buy the ones I need but nothing is going in my bags. So I switch to the vendor to the right and buy a piece of vanishing dust from the inscription vendor, it goes into my bag (I thought "OK maybe just server lag") I switch back to the alchemy and inscription supplies vendor and ALL the limited buy items are gone.

I did another /who and there was only 1 other person in the zone who at the time when asked was finishing their Dragonmaw dailys and nowhere near the vendor (nor cared about it). I logged out and back in to check it but to no avail they were still gone. The character I checked for them was a Inscriptionist, level 85, and has the achieve for quests in Twilight Highlands.

This is very frustrating and possibly a bug?

These items have been hotfixed to no longer have limited supply.
