I think it will be a while before i replace this, even in raids.

I relize crit might not be the most important stat for a mage, but since i got about 46% crit without Scorch, and 56% with Scorch, more then half of my spells costs 30% less mana. and besides, eatch time i crit two times a row, well.. instant pyro ;D

Totally love it. and 1.5 min cooldown = awesome. (edit: changed to 2 min CD =()

The lightning effect animation is awesome it's what makes this a fun screw around trinket, have a friend hide somewhere in a major city and pop this trinket, then DI your friend and then leave party so the DI is removed, looks like someone struck you with lightning and died, makes people go WTF?

While this is a pretty good caster trinket its also probably the single most common reason I've not invited someone to a group.

Why?

Because I've seen this on far far too many death knights, hunters, rogues...warriors...you name it, I've probably seen it when it comes to this trinket... :(

It'd at least be slightly excusable if it were a drop (hardly...), like the hit-spell power from VH heroic, but come on...there's a physical dps reward trinket from the same quest... >_>
