If you are curious the total stats for the Brilliant Saronite 'set' is:

mp5...............86
spell power.....589
int .................25
stam.............107

That's a lot of spell power and crit, but I think this is intended as a mix and match set. The lack of int would be crippling, unless you had some terrific rings, cape, etc.

These gloves are really the only piece worth getting out of the entire set.

The Brilliant Saronite 'set' is meant as starter gear for holy paladins. For example, if you levelled your paladin as retribution and you haven't picked up any healing gear while levelling. In that case, Brilliant Saronite is good to get your started on your healing gear, but don't expect it to last that long.

Latest updates has the full "set" of Brilliant Saronite giving us these total stats:

Armor - 10870
Stamina - 145
Intellect - 471
Spirit - 186
Crit - 254

A stark improvement over the stat bonuses (or lack thereof) that was previously found in this set. Not sure it makes it -good- Holy Paladin armor, but it's better armor than it used to be, from what I've read.

Plus, I like how it looks. >.>
