This used to teach the raid-wide Prayer of Fortitude spell, however as of Cataclysm the spell is merged with the regular Power word: Fortitude, and is available from the trainer.

Hence this book is now vendor trash.

What's the stamina increase for the rank II. Is it higher than the lvl 60 single spell? Also, what's the cost on the reagent?

Found one in scholomance of a regular elite mob. Rank 2 is 70 stamina. It requires a sacred candle, which is a few silver from the reagent vendor.

Got mine in BRD, off the falme boss that summons like 1 million fireballs... so nice... problem i am a leet healer, so i cant use it for 6 levels

you dont need codex 1 to use codex 2, not at this point in time anyway.

Knowing about the insane price tag on Codex II i immediately hit the buyout button when it showed up in the AH for 20g buyout. Shortly after this 2 more showed up, also in the price range of 19-22g.

Now i still have to gain 4 more levels before i can use it.

Btw: European realm, Server Turalyon (low pop), Horde side

Nowadays (In th ebeginning of 2006) they got for 2 gold or something.

A guildmate gave it to me for free so i didnt needed to buy is ( At lvl 51) so Im kinda happy they dont go for 325g anymore

Who cares how much the book goes for on AH...Give it to your priest for free and it will benefit you in battle... The candels go for 6s50c at a vendor if i remember correct.

I bought mine fo aboutr 5 gold a few months ago but now its like 100 gold. Is there something up with my server or did something happen to its drop rate.

When i was lvl 22 doing SFK a lvl 60 warrior gave me about 30 greens to help with my enchanting. In the last trade box was this book he said " something for you when you hit lvl 60" so i took it and have been using it since i got to 60.

P.S on my server it sells for 5g max!

I was in IF when a lvl 60 walked up and asked me if i wanted both books for 2g. i took it ofcoarse but i can not use them yet as i have not high enough lvl

I'm not surprised, it's (almost) redundant since the latest patch as you can now learn the spell from trainers

Increased the drop rate of this dramaticly in the patch that introduced honor system. Used to be a BoE epic level drop. Now it drops once for about every 2 runs you did. I did 3 runs in instances that drop rank 1 and saw 2 of them (already had it so lost the roll both times....). Also did Strat UD and UBRS and it dropped in UBRS right before the general and won the roll over another priest. Overall much more common drops.

Just dropped last night off a fire elemental in BRD on Khadgar. We had a 55 priest in the group. Lucky bastard.

Now if only Gift of the Wild II would drop!

Now that BC is out, do the level 60 Codex's still only drop from mobs or can you now buy them from a vendor? I seem to remember hearing rumors that "all those level 60 books" would be obsolete once BC came out. It's difficult to find any of these now, since hardly anyone is doing any of the instances/world bosses that drop these now.
