This is the same vendor that sells the runecloth bag recipe.

It is a limited suppy recipe that appears to be on an odd timer.

I saw it appear, then disappear 10 minutes later ?

These boots are good for nothing except skilling up Leatherworking from 275 to 300. The reason they are good for skilling up is that they require very little Rugged Leather (which is expensive to buy). However, they do require Frostsaber Leather, which is impossible to find on the AH. What I did was I made several circuits of Frostsaber Rock. Two circuits netted around 80 Rugged Leather and 60 Frostsaber leather, enough to skill up ten points. Sounds like a lot of work, but if you have the patience to farm, this is really the way to get those final points in Leatherworking.

Has this pattern been removed from the game? Seriously I've been stood by her for two hours and it's not showed up once, bought the enchanting and tailoring and even the JC ones a few times incase it's maybe shared spawn.

I sat for two hours trying to get this pattern. I believe that there are only two slots available for the limited stock items, and thus, bought every item I could until it appeared in the same spot as Enchant Chest - Major Health, as well as Runecloth Bag.
For me it was Page 4, and the only item on the page.

camped for a few hours now... nothing still... seen the JC, the tailoring and the enchant... never the leather =(

Pattern: Frostsaber Boots is on a 1.5-2 hour respawn rate. The enchanting and tailoring pattern is on a longer timer.

I have been watching for this pattern for an hour and a half. I have bought the JC pattern 4 times, the tailoring pattern once. I can only wonder if someone is taunting me. it is definitely on a long respawn, the 1.5-2 hour time seems correct.

When i came to qui she only had jw pattern...so i bought it out incase it was sharing cd...I was occasionaly killing yetis for rugged/thick leather and coming back after each stack...I bought out 2 more jw patterns and then when i came again in about 30 min after first purchase of jw pattern...i looked at her aviable goods and all 3 patterns were aviable ...jw/tailoring/lw...tailoring and lw were on second page though.

I've been here for a while now and the jc pattern respawns every 5 min. ish other than that every 10 min. ish i get either tailor or enchant pattern no luck on the LW.. it feels like she doesn't wants to sell what we look for. Let's hope i can get some cash by selling the other patterns on AH cuz time is money.

Patch 4.3.4, 20th of August. Camped her for about 2 hours. In that time, I got 11x the design for the necklace, 1x the runecloth bag and 1x the enchanting formula until I finally got this. everything will spawn at the first slot at her, unless you have the necklace and one of the others at the same time. if this happens, the "other" one will be in the first slot, and the necklace in the last slot of page three. everytime I had one of the "others", I had the necklace on the last page - except when the boots were finally available.

long story short, be patient. it WILL spawn. it seems to share spawns with the enchanting formula and the bag, but neither seem to share the spawn with the necklace.

Definetly longest spawn timer out of all; two recipes spawn out of three (LW Tailoring and Ench) buying the JC recipe is pointless.

I can confirm this pattern still exists in 5.2. Purchased the JC pattern first, walked away, immediately came back and it was available for purchase.

I can confirm that this pattern is still sold by Qia in 5.4. I was waiting to buy Formula: Enchant Chest - Major Health and i saw it in the 4th page and bought it.

Exactly after 12 minutes this pattern spawned again.

Each recipe has an independent respawn timer. You don't have to buy any recipe to display other. Just wait until specific recipe appears.
Today I have seen the four patterns (JC, Ench, LW and Runecloth bag) at the same time on this vendor.

I went out to Winterspring and spoke to Qia to get this pattern, and she didn't have it, and saw no indication that Qia sold it. I didn't see the pattern with a "(0)", there was nothing there. Does anyone know if that's changed?

She does sell them but if she isnt in stock it doesnt show as "0"
You just need to check at the later time , its spawns everyone now and than.

It seems to be a random spawn on her. I've been next to her looking for the Runecloth Bag pattern and keep checking. The Froostsaber Boots have spawned twice in a row.

I take it you need a high reputation with someone to get this as i have checked loads of times and never got this?

This vendor sells several limited quantity recipes. That means there is only ONE. They spawn randomly. If it isn't in stock it won't show up in her inventory so you can't tell what she sells until it spawns. You may have to camp the NPC for several hours to get everything you need. There is no rep required to purchase the items, it's just a matter of waiting for it to appear.

Qia sells this Pattern: Frostsaber Boots for 1g 60s.

You can pick this pattern up from the Auction house at less than half of that - 70s.

Opportunists who miscalculated demand - I imagine.
