Best Crafted & Profession Gear for Guardian Druids

Relic of Xuen is the item that will last you the longest on this list, as this trinket will likely not be replaced until you have a Heroic raid trinket in both trinket slots. This trinket is obtained from the Darkmoon Faire, with Tiger Deck, but to be able to craft the cards, Inscription is required.

Relic of Niuzao is a great defensive trinket that is especially good early on when the rest of your gear is not up to par with the content you want to clear. It is obtained from the Darkmoon Faire, with Ox Deck, but to be able to craft the cards, Inscription is required.

Agile Retinal Armor is a Engineering-only 476 helmet that allows the user to choose, through the Cogwheel Sockets, which secondary stats it has. This item will be pre-raid BiS until a better helmet can be acquired through Celestial dungeons.

Inscribed Tiger Staff is a 476 weapon that doesn't require Inscription to use, but it "Binds to account," meaning you can craft it on another character and send it over if you don't have Inscription on your Druid. This item will be pre-raid BiS until a better weapon can be acquired through Celestial dungeons.

Contender's Leather Helm and the rest of the Contender's Leather Set are crafted through Leatherworking, and while they aren't particularly strong items, they're great on a fresh level 90 to get up in Item Level and be able to do dungeons!

Similar to the Contender's set, there are also some other 450 crafted items that can be great on a fresh level 90. Golembreaker Amulet and Roguestone Shadowband (not Unique, so you can use two) can be crafted with Jewelcrafting, and then there's also Quick Strike Cloak from Leatherworking.

Ghost Iron Dragonling is another Engineering item that is strong thanks to the Cogwheel Sockets. This one doesn't require Engineering to use but is also substantially lower item level. The proc is great for dungeons, and since it's hard to get high-ilvl trinkets in both slots early on, it is likely to last a while into the pre-raid gearing process.

Renataki's Soul Charm is a great trinket for Guardian Druids as it gives a high passive amount of an ideal Guardian Druid stat while also having a big Agility proc, allowing for even more damage. Since Expertise and Agility are also really good defensive stats, this trinket is very balanced for both damage throughput and survivability.

Bad Juju is a good trinket for Guardian Druids; the large amount of Mastery isn't ideal, but it provides survivability, and a lot of it can be reforged into every stat. The Agility proc, however, is nice and provides good survivability and damage throughput.

Vicious Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault is a great trinket for Guardian Druids as it gives a high passive amount of an ideal Guardian Druid stat while also having a big Agility proc, allowing for even more damage. Since Hit and Agility are also really good defensive stats, this trinket is very balanced for both damage throughput and survivability. This trinket only has 1 version, which puts it behind some of the other trinkets in this list, as they have higher item level versions.

Ji-Kun's Rising Winds is a decent defensive trinket; it gives a large amount of passive Expertise, which is really good for Guardian Druids, and the proc effect isn't completely random, as it will only heal you when you go below 35% HP.

Delicate Vial of the Sanguinaire is not too good of a defensive trinket; it gives a large amount of passive Dodge, which isn't terrible, but it's one of the least desired stats for Guardian Druids. The proc effect is not really ideal; it has a niche use, though, of directly scaling with how many mobs you're taking, so it can be a really good defensive trinket for AoE tanking.

Rune of Re-Origination is a special trinket; it has a large amount of passive Agility, which is nice, but the effect of the trinket is not as straightforward. It converts the lower two values of your Critical Strike, Haste, and Mastery into twice as much of the highest of those stats for 10 seconds. Which, as a Guardian Druid, isn't really ideal, as your most preferred stat is Critical Strike, which this would provide too much of, as there is a cap to the amount of Critical Strike you can actually use, and the loss of Mastery removes a good amount of passive damage reduction.

Talisman of Bloodlust has a great amount of Agility passively, but the proc being Haste is not that strong for Feral Druids, since it can't be snapshotted onto your bleeds, which a lot of the competing trinkets can. No matter what version of this trinket you have, it won't be better than any of the trinkets above, no matter what version you have them in.

Terror in the Mists is a great offensive and defensive trinket. It passively increases your Agility by a lot and has a proc that grants Critical Strike, which is your most desirable secondary stat for both damage throughput and mitigation.

Bottle of Infinite Stars has a great Agility proc that provides both mitigation and damage throughput, but with passive Mastery, which only increases mitigation.

Relic of Xuen is a powerful trinket for damage throughput and mitigation, with both high passive Agility and a big Agility proc.

Searing Words is a good offensive and defensive trinket that passively increases your Critical Strike and has an Agility proc—your two most valued stats.

Windswept Pages is a decent trinket that provides a high amount of passive Agility, with a Haste proc that provides some extra Rage generation.

Active Trinkets

Soul Barrier is a really good defensive trinket; it has a high amount of passive Stamina, which is the best defensive stat for Guardian Druids, and an on-use that provides some extra mitigation by absorbing up to 46520 damage, but only 9304 damage absorbed per hit, which provides some nice extra buffer that can be paired with smaller defensive cooldowns.

Fortitude of the Zandalari is a decent defensive trinket; it has a high amount of passive Mastery, which provides some physical damage reduction and an on-use that increases your health pool by a decent amount for 15 seconds.

Steadfast Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault is a not-so-great trinket; high amount of passive Mastery which provides some physical damage reduction and an on-use effect that starts off with a lot of Dodge, but decreases by 10% every 2 seconds.

Woundripper Medallion has a high amount of passive Agility, with an on-use that is really strong for Guardian Druid and should be used on cooldown.

Hawkmaster's Talon has a high amount of passive Agility, with an on-use that isn't particularly strong but should be used on cooldown.

Flashing Steel Talisman has a good amount of passive Hit, with an Agility on-use that increases survivability and damage throughput.

Jade Warlord Figurine is a good defensive trinket, with a high amount of passive Stamina and a Mastery on-use that can be used once per minute for extra Physical damage mitigation.

Relic of Niuzao is a great defensive trinket, with a high amount of passive Stamina and a Dodge on-use that can be used once per minute for extra mitigation.

please go back to SoD style listing of good options per slot + providing its source/time of availability, navigating the current layout is a nightmare, e.g. if I just want to find a decent (not BiS) pair of gloves, I won't be finding it here very easily and even miss out on "honorable mentions" which would be very easy to obtain and still pretty good etc
