The name of the icon is ''achievement_boss_ji-kun''.

Personally I think this is the new raven lord-style mount or the new pheonix style mount if you look close into the icon and compare it to the model.

One of 14x Mounts so far coming with 5.2.

What I find interesting is that it requires Exalted Les Astres vénérables as does the new Rênes de serpent-nuage de cobalt fulminant which is a World Boss drop. Click the icon: what does the name "achievement_boss_ji-kun" tell you?

Ji-Kun seems to be going for an archaeopteryx theme, being an ancient-looking, semi-terrestrial bird, but its appearance draws heavily from Bearded Vultures.

Rare drop from the boss Ji Kun, dropped last night for our raid. Very low drop rate obviously but, oddly, the mount is NOT listed in the bosses loot table in the dungeon journal for some reason. Screenshot submitted with what it looks like.

Shares the same skeleton as the pandaren phoenix you get from completing all challenge modes on silver.

Similar to how the proto drakes and fire hawks share skeleton.

I'm assuming this will never drop in LFR. In other words, unless you're a super power-raider who does ToT every week all year, or are just one lucky MF, expect to farm for this after MoP has passed.

Dropped today for us too.. I've seen it around our server a lot ? Seems like it's not as rare as the Elegon mount or its just RNG

Dropped on 10m Normal last night. The mount matches Ji-Kun or one of her children.

The /mountspecial (when performed on the ground) is the mount arching its head back and opening its mouth like it's catching the food from the boss encounter.

Just saw this tonight off normal 10man Ji-kun. It dropped off the boss and not a coin for my raid team. As previously stated it has the same skeleton as the challenge mode mounts and sounds exactly the same as well.

On a side note, finally some raid leader love. I won this beast of a mount with an 87 and half the team rolling in the 80s.

I received this mount yesterday on our weekly Ji-Kun 10HC kill, like other boss drop mounts it drops separately with the loot, not in place of one piece of loot, it will not drop on LFR, however it can drop on any of the following difficulties: 10N, 10HC, 25N and 25HC.

It dropped alongside Featherflight Belt and Leggings of the Crackling Conqueror. As has been stated in other comments it follows the same skeleton as the Challenge Conqueror: Silver mounts as can be seen here:

This item will NOT drop in LFR. You will need to do this boss on either heroic or normal modes for it to drop.

Quick guide to farming for those not familiar with the raid:

Getting to the Raid
Portal to Jade Forest from SW/Org
Fly to Townlong Steppes, Shado-Pan Garrison (west of zone)
- If you have been before, take portal next to Vereesa Windrunner.
- If you haven't been before, talk to Vereesa Windrunner, accept quest (takes 1 min). Click orb on boat to Teleport to Za'Tual.
Ride straight to raid (2 mins), stick to the path.

Getting to Ji-Kun
Raid is pretty straightforward, mostly a straight line...
1. Kill Jin'rokh.
2. Don't let Spirit Flayers knock you off the bridge :)
3. Kill Horridon. His gate will unlock when you get close, no need to interact with other gates.
4. You need to kill Sand Conjurer packs to unlock the next 2 doors.
5. Keep running. Kill Tortos.
6. To summon Megaera you need to defeat the three Eternal Guardians and then destroy the bell behind each of them (west platform, north in lake, south in lake).
7. Kill Megaera by defeating the front 2 heads, and wait for rampage to subside. Repeat 5 times.
8. Ascend on the right path. DO NOT LET Gastropod touch you (instant death).
9. Walk off the ledge at the top, you will float to Ji-Kun's platform.
10. Kill Ji-Kun.

Will take around half an hour. Good luck!

If you want to continue the raid for transmogs, click the red feather that spawns after Ji-Kun dies and fly up to take the next path (don't fly through the red portal).
