How do I find out if I have completed a quest?

I'm trying to get a mount in Ardenweald. The quest chain starts with the quest "Trouble in the Banks". If completed, an NPC shows up to let me continue on with fixing my dream catcher. None of these details are particularly important... My question is, how do I check to see if I have done these quests? I think I've done every quest given me in Ardenweald. I recall interacting with Lady of the Falls frequently but she has no quests for me and I'm stuck.

I'm assuming you're going for the
Swift Gloomhoof
for which you need the
Dream Catcher
.
For the quest, you can check the achievement
Sojourner of Ardenweald
in game to see if you have completed
Well, Tell the Lady
which is the last part of the
Trouble at the Gormling Corral
storyline.
Alternatively you can download the wowhead client at
https://www.wowhead.com/client
and link your character in the program, that allows you to pin a character on the website to track quest completion and track mount and pet collection as well.
If you need more info, try checking the comments of the item or quest you're trying to complete/obtain.

Indeed, you are spot on both in the mount I am pursuing and the quest achievement. I seem to be missing that specific quest. But I know I've done it. As I recall, the quest shows up when you are in the area and it doesn't show on the map. In any case, I took a trip up there to talk to the fairy that hands out the quest. She has none to offer. I do have the previous quest in that achievement. I'm certainly befuddled on this one. Maybe I'll give it a go with one of my alts who have also done the quest and have credit for it. I don't know if I can solo that mob on my own with one of them or not. They aren't geared up as well and I don't play them as well as my lock.
Thank you so very much for the help. I only started this game around the first of this year and it is overwhelming to figure out how to use everything and put the puzzle together. I actually like that about the game because it challenges me but when I get stuck, it can be painful. At least now, I have a path forward.
