One of 4x Raptors introduced in 5.2.

Huevo primigenio Info:

Drops from Elite Dinosaurs in Isla de los Gigantes which is the island north of Kun'Lai Summit
Each Elite has 2-13 million health and drops 1x-45x Bones.
Is Unique and only hold one at a time. 100% sure you can't see another if it drops--others in party can however.
The fact that it's unique and can't loot more than 1 will greatly skew wowhead drop% listing as ppl continue to farm to reach 9999 Bones with egg in bag
100% chance at hatching 1 of 3 raptors: Riendas del raptor primigenio negro, Riendas del raptor primigenio verde, Riendas del raptor primigenio rojo
I just hatched 5x on 5x different chars on 3/11/12 and got in this order: Black, Red, Red, Green, Black. The same mount can be received more than once
Keep in mind the odds of getting all 3/3 different colors on first three eggs are just 2 in 9 (or 22%).

Comentario de trollhuntard

Exremely similar to Savage Raptor

Comentario de 555419

Art is identical to the Savage Raptor other than a "redder" saddle.

Comentario de Lochlathan

Looted this today out of my first Primal Egg. It has brownish/red skin with black stripes.

Comentario de Alcest

... That's not red...

Savage Raptor's price just went down by 90% haha

Comentario de Rasmaus543

SO annoying to get this, when you allready have the Savage Raptor.. -.-

Comentario de Capri

Just got mine... Not red at all, it is bronze!

Comentario de Mathaylla

Got it from my first primal egg...yes, it's more bronze/orange than red, but since I collect mounts, I'm happy to have it either way!

Comentario de Thedawg

i think it sucks because they look just like the trolls lvl 20 mounts

Comentario de Larodar

Got it from my first Primal Egg, dropped from a Primal Direhorn mob at Isle of Giants. With 3 days of a hatching process, it was a sweet surprise to loot this mount out of the egg.

Comentario de 1073095

I just got my second one today. Shame they're soulbound.

Comentario de PlastKladd

I got the "red" one, I'm not sure if I even dare call it red. I'm unimaginably pissed right now.

Comentario de Mormolyce

Apart from simply being different colours, the primal raptors also sport a slightly different texture to the Troll mounts. The most obvious difference is the pattern on the legs - the old mounts have an almost tattoo-like cross-hatch shape whereas the primals have four parallel stripes. They also have a more strongly striped pattern on the tail, and some less visible ones on the head fins, the eye area and one just in front of the saddle.

It's hard to tell on the Swift raptors because their armour obscures many of these areas however I think they use a similar skin to the Apprentice Riding ones. However notice there are slight differences such as the fins under the jowls being longer.

WARNING Crackpot theory testing ahead!

After my fourth or fifth green raptor I decided that I would try to cheese the last raptor I needed.

I kept any doubles of the raptors that I had already learned in my bags. Because of the way mounts used to work, I thought that maybe the game would keep track of the ones I had in my bags and it would force it to give me the last one.

It didn't work :( It just told me that I couldn't loot the duplicate mount. There is no easy way to get the raptor you want without getting lucky or just continuing to hatch eggs.

Comentario de Azrilar

As a vanilla player I really love these primal raptors! Nostalgia of the "old zone" Un'goro Crater indeed, back in the days when it was pretty close to end-game content. Was certainly something in the day seeing these giant dinosaurs walking around, and these mounts pay homage to that. The green one is hunter nostalgia from the wotlk days, with people spending their lives camping out the Sholazar Basin rare with a similar skin.

These 3 mounts all resemble in-game devilsaur NPCs, as follows:
Riendas del raptor primigenio verde -Uses the skin of Rey Krush
Riendas del raptor primigenio negro - Uses skin of Demosaurio Pielférrea.
Riendas del raptor primigenio rojo -Uses skin of Demosaurio Tirano. Similar to the TCG Raptor salvaje. Also many others, see here.

And of course the Riendas del raptor primigenio albino, which pays homage to the good ol' standard Demosaurio.

Comentario de Korijenkins

This mount is truly a good example of the increasing laziness of Blizzard. People have complained and complained about reskins forever but I think its this mount that was the last straw for me. Not only does it ruin the Raptor salvaje for anyone that had it before this was added but it also takes the title of laziest mount ever made. The only visible difference between the mounts is a slight tweak to the color of the saddle. The insulting part about this is that someone who may have spent a decent amount of gold/money on the card game raptor would look the same riding next to a mount that people can find out of a random drop egg. Hopefully Warlords of Draenor will take Blizzard down a different path mount-wise. Hopefully.
