I am not sure of your class or spec, but I use healbot on everyone of my toons from my Hunter (targeting the tanks, mobs, healing my pet, laying down traps, etc) to my tank (See who has agro , use my OH S&^t buttons, etc.). A few months ago I used it for healing, I have no switched to Keybind healing but still use healbot to show various info.. But anyway the point is that healbot or grid can do what you are looking for and put it right in your line of sight for the entire party or raid.
