Hey all,
If you've finished the intro pet taming quests and gotten both BPT: Kalimdor and BPT: Eastern Kingdoms, you're probably wondering where to go next. Here's a rundown:

In The Eastern Kingdom, by level:
David Kosse, Hinterlands, lvl13 pets
Deiza Plaguehorn, Eastern Plaguelands, lvl 14
Kortas Darkhammer, Searing Gorge, lvl15
Everessa, Swamp of Sorrows, lvl 16
Durin Darkhammer, Blackrock Mountain, lvl 17

Kalimdor also has lvl13-17 trainers, so if you want to be fighting the trainers on your level, you have to bounce back and forth. Alternatively, you could just run one continent than go to the other and wafflestomp the lower level trainers.

Here is my Quicklist Guide to the second tier of Pet Trainer Quests. This is a quick reference to see what type of pets you will need to defeat the trainers easily. On Trainers who have the same type of pet for all 3 pets in their party, I would recommend you bring at least two pets that are the opposite type (i.e. bring three appropriate leveled Mechanical types to fight three trainer Beasts). Don't rely on fighting all three of their pets with just one of yours, despite the fact that they will have stronger attacks and defeat them quicker.

Battle Pet Tamers: Eastern Kingdoms

To defeat these trainers with maximum efficiency, you will need pets of the following type:
Beast, Mechanical, Dragonkin, Critter, Humanoid, Flying, Magic, Aquatic

David Kosse (Hinterlands) is actually further east at 62, 54. The in-game map is currently wrong.

It is possible for this quest, or any other Battle Pet Tamers quest to bug. Sometimes doing each of the different trainers on a different character causes it. That wasn't the case for me, but that's what I've heard. The only solution is to abandon the quest and start all over.

Anybody getting an issue where after the first time, the pet trainer in Orgrimmar just doesn't give out this quest anymore, simply giving Battle Pet Tamers: Kalimdor over and over again?

As each of the Alliance and Horde 'Battle Pet Tamers:' quests have a unique quest ID, you are able to carry an Alliance and Horde one at the same time.

They will show as (Account) in your quest log and can be completed by any character.

When you fight each respective Battle Pet Tamer, it will mark off for both Alliance and Horde quest lines and once completed, you will be rewarded with not one but two 宠物补给袋.

It is irrelevant which character you complete this on as both quests will auto-complete in the field. However, the character which accepts the auto-complete will receive the satchels, regardless of which character picked up the quest (this is important if you like your pet goodies on one particular character).

It does not give you a double shot at the Grand Master Quests (example 驯宠宗师安塔里)

This is a great way of doubling your chances at pet and battle stone drops.

As it hasn't been posted yet, you can use the Paste addon & TomTom to add the waypoints for EK, including the counters & the follow-up Quest NPC.

/way Burning Steppes 25.6, 47.6 Durin Darkhammer (Mag-Bst-Aqua)
/way The Hinterlands 62.8, 54.6 David Kosse (Bst-Mech-Drag)
/way Searing Gorge 35.4, 27.8 Kortas Darkhammer (Hum*3)
/way Deadwind Pass 40.2, 76.4 Grand Master Lydia Accoste (Aqua-Crit*2)
/way Swamp of Sorrows 76.78, 41.4 Everessa (Fly-Mag-Mech)

You have several travel options. I took the portal to Blasted Lands and flew to Swamp of Sorrows, but you can also use a mage to port you to Stonard. I then used my Grim Guzzler port to get to Burning Steppes (or you can fly there from SoS), then flew to Searing Gorge. I then hearthed back to Temple and took the Undercity portal and flew to The Hinterlands then flew to EPL. I can't think of a faster way to get to those last two places, but if you know of a quick port, please let me know. After, Guild Cloak to return to Org & click Blasted Lands portal to be near Deadwind Pass (or fly back to UC and use the Blasted Lands portal).
